I just noticed that Allard and Dominic are giving out Baking Powder. Maybe baking something with Fantine is a Raffle thing? There's a Baking Kit available in the Millionaire Center.

Making a scroll is a Raffle thing. There's no Amanuensis Kit in the Millionaire Center full of reagents rare books, mortars and vials etc. If no quest grantor is giving out the Empty Vial, they should.

i agree. the vial has super inflated after the first day. got mine 1st hour of the raffle for about 50k i believe and the price is going to get (more) ridiculous with each passing day. this would help immensely for users who are now unfortunate enough to have this as a task

Just a tip for anyone having trouble with this: the level 2 scrolls are generally much cheaper to make than the level 1 scrolls because they don't involve empty vials.

I also agree, considering I have making a scroll as a task and really don't want to drop 800k on a r38 item. It's rather frustrating. I'm left occasionally refreshing the shop search waiting for one to show up in Spells Galore in hopes that I nab one.

Edit: Wow, five minutes after I post this, I RSed one :O ...And two more, just in case. I still stand by doing something to combat the ridiculous inflation, though.

The staff already dumped scroll ingredients earlier today, I'm sure if people continue inflating the prices like this they might do it several times.

I don't think something like the Baking Kit is necessary. But then again the kit was only created because of the same problem - so obviously something has to change.

I wouldn't mind seeing scroll ingredients get handed out a little more often for the duration of the Raffle, just to keep prices from getting too crazy.

Of course, it would've been easier if they just left baking and scroll-making out of the task list, but whatever.

in order to make level 2 scrolls you need to buy and then read to your pet eighty books. This is cheaper than an Empty Vial...today, but it is a huge pain if you're not already a battler/reader. Your solution is not so easy as you say.

the Baking Kit may not be necessary, but it's fun. You can bake a pancake from scratch, get a mix from the store where you have to add milk and eggs, get a mix that only needs water, or go to Denny's as you please and as are in your budget. Subeta desperately need sP sinks, and if folks have so much sP floating around they can afford to fuck with baking prices and scrollmaking prices this much, then there's no reason Subeta shouldn't skim some of that off.

sP sinks won't stop people from buying items for 500 sP and selling them for 900,000 sP. I feel like in situations like this, where you're asked to make scrolls and to bake, the corresponding shops should restock more often. Because people will always inflate those items since they just need to sell one to gain back the sP.

But I don't think a spell kit is necessary for this situation. Another thread was talking about how they got baking ingredients extremely often while doing quests - if it was on purpose I think that would be enough to combat people losing millions over events like this.

It's up to 2mil in shops now, which is just plain ridiculous. Price gouging during an event like this is such a shame to see.

I think that the vial should be a reward. Yesterday in quests I got about 20 baking powders. That is more than enough to get me through the raffle. I was going to complain about the price of the vial earlier but I realized I was able to make later scrolls without it. Other people are not as lucky and are still on level 1. I don't see why baking is catered to so heavily for the raffle but let the vial inflate to the moon...

yes, if your pet is already smart this item is not such a limiter. I have a stock of overpriced reagents that are still in my legacy shop, I use them to spontaneously make scrolls instead of having to restock them when I want them. The ones that are for common level 1 scrolls are selling.

Just now the price of the Empty Vial hit eight million. and 's suggestion is looking better even if it does mean finding and reading eighty books.

The Empty Vial does Vend, I got three of them yesterday from Shining Crane, and sold them for five million.

Maybe part of the getting to know the site feature of the Raffle is that they want everyone to use up their Wizard Tokens or read to their pets?
