because of the bathhouse pool there are now more ways to obtain referral points. what if we could buy a 'referral ticket' in the shop so we can sell it? just like the raffle tickets. because now it's going to take forever to get all the items from the shop

That would be super useful! It would be one thing if the referral shop only had prices like CSC, sP or GAs, but since there are literally so many collection items you can only get from the referral shop it would help so many people if everyone could sell like their one referral point so that users can finish their collections.

Referral tickets would also be good for those who don't have anything they want to buy but also don't want to have to use the forums to sell them.

I definitely support this. I don't have any friends that would be interested in joining Subeta, so my only way to get referral points is from the pools... unless something like this was implemented.

And there's a TON of stuff I want in there, so unless this happens, it's going to be a very long time before I get anything.

yeah I understand you, I really want to give my points to my friends, they really need it and I don't want to spend them on a useless item..

Considering that we had zero chance to accumulate referral points before all this, I'm happy with whatever method we have to earn them now (besides the original way of actually referring new people).

Even at this pace, I'll be able to actually get things eventually whereas before I had no chance. I don't think it needs to be easier than it is now.

Yeah, referral points shouldn't be transferable in anyway besides the items you buy. They are a special currency meant to mimic the amount of effort that one puts into Subeta, but unfortunately getting referrals just isn't as easy as it was back in Neopet's heyday. So the fact that we can now earn 12 points a year (or I guess 14? if those are all you're after) is honestly more than generous to users and it continues to encourage users to put their effort and time into Subeta.

If people want to sell their points or buy points I don't really see the harm in waiting until the more serious players have earned enough to buy the most expensive items. The items aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I understand that staff want the items to be rare. But there are so many items in the referral shop that are used for collections, and even with the 1 point a month from the bathhouse it will still take years for one person to be able to afford all of them on their own.

I know they want new users for the site, but it's honestly hard to find people who are interested in pet sites anymore. It would be nice to have something like this, so people who don't care about their points could at least sell them directly. I don't know what the exchange rate is currently, but I would guess it's not cheap so collectors still have to save up a lot anyway.
