Whenever I use an item to check if my pet has read it, but it also happens to be something that's play-with-able (that's a word, I swear) like a CD, it's really hard to read all the giant list of names easily. Could we either just put a space between the two lists so we can easily tell where the "Read to.." and "Play with..." lists start and end? Or perhaps even put our pets into a drop down list?

I don't really know what I'm talking about, but changing it to a dropdown sounds like it could be difficult (and at the very least, it feels like an extra step because you have to find your pet in the dropdown and click some kind of confirm button instead of just clicking a link).

But yes, I definitely support separating the lists with a gap!

No to drop downs, yes to spaces :)

This is a nifty idea.

The item box is narrower than most subeta pages, so if possible, I prefer side-by-side instead of the vertical gap. The gap is good if it's so much easier to implement. I prefer side by side instead though, because even without the gap there's a lot of downscrolling for me with thirty pets.

I would love the inventory to be changed to something more AJAX-y in general. Like clicking on an item within the inventory brings up a JavaScript "popup" (but still on the same page), and if there are multiple uses you would click a 'Feed' link or 'Play' link or whatever and it would expand to have the whole list.

Something like that.
