I like the outfits of Fine Fabrics very much, but I think is lacking some variety now, especially in certain colours like cream, yellow (or gold), blue, etc. So I decided to suggest some pieces of clothing from Medieval Vietnam because I think they would be interesting and are very similar to the clothing worn in Shengui Guo: x x

What do you guys think?

I'd love to see some of the armor pieces, personally.

Jogoh is a tailor, not an armourer. For that, we will need another shop in Shengui Guo. I'm talking about textiles inspired in traditional Chinese, Japanese or, like in this case, Vietnamese (because Vietnam's culture has been highly influenced by China) clothing from imperial times.

Actually, leather armor isn't more difficult than leather jackets.

I can't see how you can even get the ao dai from what Jogoh has on offer right now, nor the embroidered and tailored version of the shalwar kameez (whose name in vietnamese I forget sorry) that is contemporary for men. All of her pieces are top+bottom instead of two long layers which is what is needed.

A few of the designs you show can be faked with Jogoh's stuff layered with other stuff available. The rest (usually the ones that are one long piece) definitely could be fun for her to make.

The suggested images look very much suitable!

More colours and patterns would be lovely for this shop too.
Maybe seasonal colours/designs or something themed to the different regions in Subeta?

Also, the current large hats/headpieces are nice but for variety I would love some smaller ones too.

Maybe Jogoh could hire an assistant with armour making skills? (there's another boat just behind her on the map!) Then there could be standard armour and maybe whole/part fabric covered armour, more ceremonial in style?

Sharky is making her way back home,
Here on Subeta, we’re never alone!

I'm talking about Medieval Vietnam; Ao Dai and other suits from contemporary Vietnam, even if they're shown in the images, don't count. And while some outfits can be layered into similar styles as you say, more variety is needed.

of course they count. Very few Suggestions ever get implemented exactly as requested. The reason my comment is trenchant is because Jogoh's stuff comes in pieces, top and bottom and almost none of the pieces you have listed are even like that. If the artist for this shop means to do something like that then they're gonna have to decide which layer to work it in. Then, they need to decide if they are going to regularize it or make some one-off pieces.

Regularizing it means that they can do other pieces that break the top/bottom layer as currently presented, and giving them a good reason to do so would help your Suggestion. I gave what I found was a good reason, that modern dress in one of the major countries whose culture is presumably represented by Shengui Guo is currently not possible. That way not only is the artist just doing one or two pieces, and then recoloring every darn thing for the extra colors you want for just those few pieces, there's a plan for implementation and augmentation in the future.

Subeta already has plain gowns/robes. If you are only interested in only the most medieval viet costumes only then I Do Not Support this idea. It's too limited, requires several changes in the shop that is unneeded and many of the pieces can be done with already existing items. For just the limited amount of pieces you want, if TPTB decide they like it, they can be released in a regular restocking shop.

Full support for maybe getting a few more items in there. I've started my third round of "maybe I'll buy this" a few weeks ago from Fine Fabrics
