I found Subeta through a sponsored post on Facebook. Best decision ever to venture and check it out.

I can't believe it took me so long to get here! I was a big fan of Neopets (still kinda active, chocolatefrosting is my UN) but ever since it changed hands (twice, now, geez) it hasn't really been the same.

So...how about a few facts about yours truly, eh?

Purple is my favorite color. I live in Tornado Alley, USA. I am a licensed insurance adjuster that is going to school for American Sign Language. I have always loved web and graphic design. I miss having a group of good internet buds to chat with, and this seems like the perfect medium to make good pals.

I have only been here a few days, but I am already in love!

A friend of mine moved outta the soul-sucking Midwest to the Pacific Northwest to do the same thing... I admire the courage. Definitely call it 'starving artist' for a reason.

I recently (within the last 6 mos) finally got a drawing tablet...................................yes, yes, so wonderful! It's nice to be able to create art without worrying my lovely cats are going to stick their paws on a drying piece T.T

I can't get a job so I blog and do writing commissions to help pass the time. I'd be a writer no matter what (tried not writing for a year and couldn't quit the habitXD) but for me the 'starving' part isn't a choice. Luckily Dad has allowed me to stay.

Chronicles of Gaia is my webseries and maybe one day one of my e-books (if I ever get one out. Guy keeps saying he's done with formatting and then another week passesXD) will make millionsXD

Hopefully when I move I can finally get a job. Whenever the place I'm moving to finally gets built (place for the disabled. Seems as if my fiance may know some people around the area so I may be able to finally get a job because of thatXD).

I have three lovely birbs so none of them has gotten to disrupting my writing.

I have had cats and a dog in the past so I know how they like to get in the wayXD

I love purple too.. and that shade of yellow that the sky turns during tornado weather :p (not from the midwest, but spent a few months visiting a few summers ago, I really liked it)

ASL is so cool. I don't know it, but I occasionally help deaf people at my job and I wish I could sign to them!

Welcome, dear! Kudos on learning ASL, it's a heck of a language. If my city wasn't so terrible I'd go into learning more, myself. But, that's a long story for another day. Anywho, welcome. :D

I love writing. -w- I think it is why I am so drawn to websites like these because you can truly appreciate prose when it is the primary way you communicate. Also, pfft! Writing commissions is so totally a job. Commission work is something else, from one freelancer to another. Speaking of, if you ever need some help (pro-bono) with your eBook let me know! I was the Editor in Chief of the yearbook in high school. ;3 I l-o-v-e it.

Milkdrop's cute little face......the adorable is consuming me whole!! Ya, it is sad that it isn't what it was anymore. In the same regard, though, it is awesome to stumble upon people who visited the same virtual world. I learned a lot from Neopets. We can all reminisce together. waves lighter back and forth The sky is pretty beautiful out here. Well, it is most places, but it is so darn flat here you can see the whole thing. Tornadoes are scary, but definitely do make for some wonderful sights. I am curious as to what you do for a living! I used to work in a call center when I first started in the insurance biz I had a few TTY calls. It was enlightening; then again, most jobs that have you directly working with humans are, heh heh. I aspire for ASL to be more mainstream. Get that stuff in schools, people!

I think I am getting the hang of it!! There is so much to do here. I love that the zapper doesn't require a map, ha! Blues and greens also please my eyes. Anything you see during the evening hours, really.

Exactly that. The atmosphere. It is easy to earn points with diligence, and to customize your avatar/pets...plus I see there is a huge role-playing community here. I am stoked to develop some characters.

Ah, I am still in the trenches, my friend! I had convinced myself I was going to work a morning job, and stick with insurance forever......but then I realized that other things make me happier. Even though the state I live in is kinda backwards, I can easily make it to the technical school. Yay for associate's degrees!! ^^' Slowly but surely, for me... n.n I am happy to be here, still!

I was very lucky. I started playing and then almost immediately after the raffle started. It is helping me find my way around this place! I thought it was a clever idea for a lookup, heh heh. I was happy to know CSS is welcome around these parts. Your profile is beautiful!!

that's pretty awesome that the raffle has been so helpful! :) Indeed it was a very clever one! And once of these days I will learn CSS as of now though my memory is still stuck on basic html, lol. Thank you for the compliment, the lovely made it for me a a month or so ago.

It does take a lot of effort like a job. Sometimes people give you a vague suggestion for a story, sometimes a little more solid but with you figuring most of the stuff out, and the rare 'they have an outline and really know what they want' people O.O'

Going through the current one rather slowly and it's one of my longer ones tooXD

But it's still not a job that would pay rent for me and one I didn't have to go to an interview.

I prefer to do my own editing for the most part (but if that ever changes I'll let you know as things may change and it's always good to have a backup plan). Have a friend doing the formatting as when I was first thinking of doing e-books just the idea of having to format sent me into a panicXD
