My name's Aria. I've been lurking for a couple of months, having been dragged here by one of my friends for a roleplay. Well, the roleplay's over for the year now and I like the site enough to stay, so... I figure I might as well make myself known.

So let's see... revealing a bit about myself would probably be a good thing, I suppose.

I'm an avid roleplayer, have been for approximately the last six years. High fantasy and medieval settings are my jam. Romance, adventure, politicking, horror/psychological types, you name it and I've probably tried it. I'm not a big fan of supernatural elements (sorry, but no sparkly vampires or werewolf hunks for me) and steampunk is kinda iffy, but... yeah, I'm willing to try anything. I normally write about 500 words per post per character, sometimes a lot more or less depending on the requirements of that particular scene.

Anyway. Aside from my writing.

I consider myself a bit of a bookworm. Tamora Pierce's books are my favorites. I also love LotR/The Hobbit, Throne of Glass, Game of Thrones, and a ton of other titles that have slipped my mind at this moment. >->

let's see... Random factoids: My favorite color is purple, favorite musical group is Of Monsters and Men. I play the clarinet, used to be a distance swimmer (500/1000/1650 free and 400 IM were my jam), and am currently starting university for a dual degree in molecular and microbiology.

Um. I can be kinda random and awkward and go off on a lot of tangents (as is evidenced by my rambling here), but I promise I don't bite! It's lovely to meet you all and I hope to see you around the site. ^-^

Welcome to Subeta c:! (I don't know which welcome I should give you) I also used to be a freestyle swimmer (50/100/200) and of course, the medley relay. I had to stop tho, but I really miss going against people ha ha.
