That would probably be your issue. You are trying to use an avatar when you don't have any of the items in your wardrobe anymore.

Can you move them back into your wardrobe then take them off?

I must be doing something wrong as they wouldn't come off when they were in my wardrobe... I am so lame...

I did a hard reset and I think it worked except there is a strange grey wig hanging in the back that won't go away and it is not in my inventory. Any suggestions?
