i don't know if this is the right place for this at all (but the official subeta help & questions forum didn't sound right), so feel free to move it if it is. i feel like this is a bit of a stretch but i think asking here is probably the closest i'm going to get to finding these things, after searching for about 30 minutes with zero results (then again i just woke up and my googling isn't top notch).

okay so long story short there used to be a site called SubetaHQ or something, i think. i never used it, i didn't find out about it until after it had closed actually. at some point, someone mentioned it on the forums or something because i googled it and found an archive site - which had i think a few profiles up? anyways they had some free overlays, that much i remember. i didn't save them. this was literally years ago.

now i kind of wish i did?? because i have two pets whose ideas were sort of 'inspired' by those particular overlays/the mood of them (yes i remember the overlays clearly and had intended to use them but went on hiatus for like a year and a half and now they're gone). one of them was a graveyard kumos biting it's own tail, and the other was an angelic feli (from the back) with it's regular little wings folded against it's back. that's all i remember.

googling subetahq, subetahq archive, short descriptions of the overlays, and even "free angelic feli overlay" and shit like that is giving me nothing. i think they're completely gone. i absolutely am no where near remembering the name of the archive site they were hosted on. even archive.org can't help me. so i'm asking here.

does anyone still have these? are they even allowed to be used anymore (did the artists quit and not want their work to be used or are they banned)? and if anyone has them do you also remember the rules for them? i know one was you can't edit them and another was to give credit (to who even?), but that's all i remember.

you're in luck because i actually saved a bunch of them back when they were still up! give me one second and i will edit this post with the pics.

the images are by (her signature is actually nicely hidden in all the overlays) so if you want to use them i would suggest asking her permission - i know they were free to use (with credit) when they were up all those years ago, but it couldn't hurt to make sure she's still okay with using them.

oh my gosh i did not actually expect someone to have them, you have literally no idea how relieved and happy i am to see those images again. ;; literally sat here holding my breath as they loaded and went AAAAAA YES when i saw them. they're so much cuter than i even remembered!! cannot thank you enough - im about to pass out because it's been a long day for me (had a job interview crazy early) but expect a thank you gift sometime tomorrow, you are literally a godsend. thank you thank you thank you. also thank you, again, for telling me who to contact!!! ill message them tomorrow as well!
