I started watching Critical Role on Geek and Sundry's Twitch channel, and I'm a little bit obsessed and really want to talk about it. Does anyone else here watch it? If you haven't heard of it, Critical Role is a show where a bunch of voice actors play Dungeons and Dragons (5th edition). Previous episodes are on Youtube, and new episodes stream live every Thursday!
I haven't watched it - yet! I've never played D&D put I started watching a playthrough of Rooster Teeth/Acheivement Hunter's Halfwits and Heroes and wanted to find something similar. (have you seen halfwits & heroes?) For Critical Role, should I start watching from the beginning?
Haven't seen Halfwits & Heroes, but I might just add that to my list! (I'm also listening to The Adventure Zone and have Friends At The Table on my list.) For CR, it's a little hard to get into in the beginning, but once you hit episode 14 or so, you probably won't be able to stop. I would recommend starting from the beginning just because it's easier to get acquainted with the characters that way.
Heck yeah! Critter for life.
Spoiler Alert!
Bananas don't really wear pajamas!
I haven't seen anything new from Geek & Sundry in a loooong time, but DnD has been creeping back into my life a lot lately. Between Heros & Halfwits on Achievement Hunter, Twits & Crits on FunHaus, and Critical Role with Geek & Sundry, its like they've been watching me in my friends kitchen learning to play. More DnD everywhere.
I've started it, but I'm very easily distracted, so I'm only on ep 4 so far! The friend who got me into it is on like, ep... 40 something. It feels like so much to catch up but I can and will!
