Thought it was best to introduce myself on here, so here goes.
I really enjoy pet games, the more fantasy based the better; I currently play FR, aywas -though I'm taking a little hiatus from aywas. I do have an account with both Magistream and DragonCave, and though I'm not a frequent player on both sites, I do pop on there every few months.
I'm known as ToyaKazaki on all sites.
Now, onto more personal tidbits, I guess.. I finished college well over a year ago now, the plan was to go straight to Uni, but due to certain circumstances, I'm helping out my parents by having 3 part-time jobs instead.
I'm half Japanese and half English; you can kind of guess the Japanese part, hehe.
I live in the good old UK, where the sky is constantly grey and we love drinking tea, though personally I prefer drinking coffee.
I'm a real movie buff, I mainly watch horrors, though I do watch actions more than often but horrors will always top them, I watch comedies now and again, depending on what they're like. I prefer old fashioned comedies to the modern ones; things like Only Fools and Horses, Porridge, Keeping Up Appearances, etc, are much more my type of comedies.
I love music, my life would be beyond bleak without it, I'd say I mainly listen to RnB but really and truly my music genres vary from classic rock to indie and all and everything around and in between. (I'm currently listening to Arsonist's Lullabye by Hozier.)
I'm a huge animal lover -one of my part-time jobs is in an animal sanctuary- and we have 5 cats, and 1 dog.
Well, I think that's all for now.
Too-da-loos!

Hey there! Hope you have fun with Subeta, there's quite a bit to do. I'd recommend doing the quests, as that's a quick way to collect SP, Subeta currency.
Oh, man, I used to watch Keeping up Appearances! Mainly because my parents liked it, but thanks to them re-watching it so often I got to appreciate it's humor as an adult.
What sort of animals do you tend to at the sanctuary?
Welcome to Subeta! How do you like to take your coffee? :3

Oh, I love Keeping Up Appearances! And I was the same, I got all of my love for old comedies from my dad, I was brought up on Only Fools and Horses (which you should defiantly watch), to the point that I know the theme song off by heart -which is probably why I'm not too keen on modern day comedies; they just don't do it like they used to.
At first we worked mainly with dogs and cats, but a few months back they built another area for wild animals such as birds, squirrels, foxes, etc. We basically built it so the surrounding places that do accommodate wild animals would feel less of a burden, and we've sort of sistered up with another one; we give them the space for the wild animals, and the workers to look after them, while they pay for the food and vet bills seems as our place isn't as big around the area as of yet. It's a family that owns the animal sanctuary that I work at, and they're not that well established like others are.
Also, thank you for such a warm welcoming! It's lovely to meet you.
Thank you for the warm welcoming! It's wonderful to meet you.
Haha, I like my coffee black with 2 sugars -I need the extra energy. ;D
Thank you so much for the tips, I really need them as of now.

I've never seen OFaH, so I'll give it a look. That animal sanctuary does sound impressive; I like it when charity work built from scratch builds up and grows over time.
Hope you have a great time here and in the future!
I take filter coffee black, but espresso with rice or soy milk :3
If you have any questions, don't be a stranger :) We're all a pretty friendly bunch!

So do I, it feels less corporate and more intimate, you get more of a sense of 'doing good' than you do with big charities; though our animal sanctuary is essentially a charity that runs off of the donation of the people in the surrounding community, the family that owns it says it'd still be there even if people refused to donate seems as they're well off themselves -which they are, though it all goes to the animal sanctuary. The extension to the building was all paid for out of the owners backpocket -as they say. They do allow people to donate simply for the fact that people asked for it, when they first opened they didn't have a scheme for donations, but people who visited sort of demanded one -and even now they rely on simple word of mouth.
The owners are the most generious people I've came across -they're like an extention of my family now, as well are my colleagues.
Haha, I've never had espresso -is it especially stong? I need something stronger than my everyday caffeine intake.
I'll keep that in mind, I've never had as many trip-ups on an virtual adoption site as I have on here, so I may just need to ask some questions in the future.

It depends, sometimes filter has more caffeine than espresso, especially with espresso you have a smaller amount for bigger flavour. Whereas normally with filter you would drink a big mug, or brew a jug and finish it off?
I invested in a fancy espresso machine cos I'm a bit of a coffee snob :P

My dad's a bit of a coffee snob, actually. Hehe. He loves his cappuccinos.

Good filter is still fine, personally, and easier to brew clean, cos it's not always practical to go out and buy 4-5$ espressos n__n;

It's so much cheaper to just do your own at home, all you're paying for is the logo -though you find that with most expensive things, it's not the quality or quantity of the item you're paying a lot of money for, it's the logo attached to it.
I work in a cafe -not Starbucks- part-time so I may be able to get a free espresso -I'm sure if I'm nice enough to my boss I'll get that and a slice of carrot cake! Hehe.
