I hope this hasn't already been suggested, I did look but didn't spot it, apologies if it has.

My suggestion is two fold.

1. Renaming the sex berry to Gender Berry.

I think is sounds nicer and we already have the Genderless Berry so it would be in keeping with that.

2. Restocking at the crystal shop. Improved idea: have it in the MC. (suggested by )

This may be completely selfish but I'd love to see the sex berry restock more. In the last few months it seems to have shot up from around 200k to over a mill. I know the token shop restock has brought it back down again but I am sure it will soon head back up.

3. Remove the berries altogether and have it like renaming and adding tc slots are now where you just pay for them and there is no item. (suggested by )

I saw the price increase too. I like to buy sex berries in case I adopt a pet I like but want to change its gender. I wouldn't mind having it the crystal shop either (hope the crystal price wouldn't be too high though!). :)

to be honest, I never really understood why we need a gender to the pets for 2 reasons:

1. we don't have 2 different version of the pets for male or female.
2. we don't have a breeding system. I wish we had both but we don't, so the impact of the gender on the pets is really zero.. it's like nothing will change if they'll remove it completely.

Now, I would be happy to change the name to "Gender Berry" I think "sex" is a very old definition and in the recent years we see a change that trying to move away from this word when it comes to gender.

Second, the price, yes, Token Shop was nice but was not helpful for an item that should be available at any moment for a nice price.. in my opinion, it should be in the MC just like the Genderless Berry..

- I think people like to role play their pets with genders and also for stories and characters but you are right it doesn't play a part in the actual site.

I like the idea of having it in the mc, that's even better than waiting for restocks.

Also I was thinking, it can be a nice sp sink and just let us change whenever we want.. they removed the name change item, you can add TC slots with just few clicks and without the chest and so on.. so why do we need items to change a gender when we could just pay a fixed price, 1 for male or female and 1 for genderless and that's it, without a need for an item..

yeah i always thought it was a little weird that it's called 'sex berry' when pets' genders are referred to as, well, genders, not sexes. it would also definitely be nice to have it available in the mc, but i don't feel super strongly about that one way or the other.

- oooh good idea with the idea of removing the item all together. That said I do miss the hypo wand was sells did create a price fluctuation, I just you do still get that now from fluxing csc prices, and it was pretty ^_^

The name change sounds like a good idea.

I like that it restocks in Food Shop though, but that's more selfish because I like restocking and they're one of the really good things to grab.

I would agree with a name change for the berry, and I would be indifferent to paying for what they do with no item involved, like the tc slots now. I say this because I rarely have the need to change my pets genders that often, but it might be more convenient to people affected by using the zapper (it changes gender right?) or getting new pets from adoptions that they want to go another way with. As long as the berries themselves don't lose their function, like the magical keepsake boxes. I have a few berries in my vault for whenever I need them and I wouldn't like it if they were made useless.

I support gender berry and MC release. I use the berry and the price has shot up. I appreciated the release in the TS but I was unable to 'catch' one.

I thought the Sex Berry was a restockable? I remember getting it from npcs when I was questing. -checks SubetaLodge- "Restock Location: Magic Box"

Name change to Gender Berry is fine though, sounds good. I also agree if it is ever changed that we can just pay to change our pets gender, please leave the berries alone. I have some of these in my vault in-case I need them and agree that I'd be just a little mad if they were useless in that aspect.

I support the name change just for consistency's sake. And I agree that if there's ever a way to just pay to change gender, that the berries should still be useable.
