I need to force myself to draw. I might open an art shop this year, but I never feel like my examples are good enough x_x help me get motivated!
- If you have a lot of characters, pick up to 3
- Human(oid)s only, I can't quad. Any gender, age, ethnicity, body type etc. Okay with HAs, OCs, fanart, real people, etc.
- Not first come first serve, sowwy if I skip you
- Quality and style will vary
- I reserve the right to repost any art I make here so make sure you're okay with that (I'll credit your subeta username)

I might be a bit late but perhaps you'd be interested in Matlal (no relationship to the Subeta NPC) or Nimue Jakande? You may have artistic license with their outfits, if you wish, but you don't have to. :) And in the case of Nimue - just to make the walls of text feel less overwhelming, one doesn't have to read the whole "ongoing story" tab or much anything at all. She's just...blind teenage low-effort hipster. If you were to draw her and wished for it then you could make her eyes glow white, but you don't have to. Or just draw me a happy bat-eared fox with glowy white eyes.

I practiced angle and inking with your HA (previous one anyway), tried to color but failed >_> here you go, I'll let you know if I do color it later. Blargh I also didn't get around to the earring, sorry!

Oh my god, you got her eyes to look EXACTLY right and her face is just as I imagine it! And the way her clothes fall, how her nose and mouth looks, the hand anatomy, the hair! I've just been sitting here and been excited over how good it looks, this is the best thing I've gotten on Subeta in years, if not ever. Thank you very much. :D
PS: Also, you are definitely good enough to open an art shop on Subeta. :)

Hereyouare the Bocksten Man! He's a bog body of XIVth century, and (I don't know why) he has become like a mascotte for me (I'm a re-enactor of his period). I'm quite fond of his history and it touches me a lot.
...yes, it's an hairy skeleton, allright. With a medieval outfit and shiny gold locks.
For body refs, there are pictures of his clothings (yes, the body was found in a swamp and it's the best preserved in Europe): 1, 2, 3. And for hair, there's a facial reconstruction, but I really prefer him like a skull with hair, as it is nowadays.
Feel free to play with his "expression": it's a skull, allright, but also skulls have feelings :P he's vain ("ooooh, look at my gorgeous shiny hair!! I'm 700 years old but I'm soooo cool. And I'm better than you.") and a bit naughty, but definitely not a bad guy.

If you are not so comfortable with shiny hairy skulls, here you are another ref... myself. But, as a re-enactress, I'm mostly like the character of some historical movie. I'm the little archer with the red dress and the bow! waiting for the growth of my hair, I cover my head with a coif with a couple of small braids around the ears (as you could see in a couple of pictures). Around waist, a thin leather belt with long strap-end, and usually I keep a little purses hanging from it, and another belt with the quiver and all the arrows (white-feathered). On the left wrist, a leather bracer engraved. Around my neck there's a little silver coin, bytheway. I'm short: only 5', and not really the girliest of the girl :P not a princess or a lady, I mean, but the litter clever and tricky one (someone calls me hobbit, relating with Merry and Pippin, and it isn't too wrong!)
