So I've been checking the recycling beast fairly frequently lately, and I haven't ONCE seen him ask for any random items (nor Oddtu items, but I'm not even sure if those were ever added to the list.)
Perhaps I'm somehow just missing the days that the items are being asked for. It's possible. But if that's the case, then the beast still needs to ask for these items more often. They're useless junk items that just take up space.
It would be nice if on the first day of the month he would just ask for slots and random items.

This shouldn't be in the suggestion forum. I'm trying to give feedback about the recycling beast apparently not taking random items anymore.
I think the way this reads, it leads more to a suggestion of "make random items more common in the recycle beast" which could be done in multiple ways.
- just have the recycle beast ask for more items in general
- make random items weighted so they are more common
- guarantee at least one random item each day
I don't think they have been removed from the item pool, but that's something that or a programmer would need to comment on to verify. Maybe Amber could make some changes to it.
I think leaving it here could lead to more ideas on how to improve it too. the difference between S&I and Site Feedback sometimes is negligible, I could really go either way on this one but I think leaving it here and getting more ideas on how to get random items in there more frequently is probably the best option for right now :)
Fair enough. Though my original intent was definitely a criticism on how rarely the random items - easily the most useless items on site, along with oddtu items - were being asked for by the beast.
I see your point, though. I just hope the others notice this. Because, once again today, the beast did not ask for any random items.
Yeah I do see it that way too. Feedback and suggestions go hand in hand. you can't have good feedback without a suggestion on how to improve it. since it was moved here though, I'll just leave it here. I'll definitely try to talk to Amber about it when she gets on and see if she can look into it and why they aren't showing up more commonly.
