Hey, all! I switch up my avatar pretty frequently for Daily Item and I've been trying to make better use of the different skin tones, but I'm running across some issues with the darker tones. A lot of the makeup items on the site seem to really be made to put over the light and mid-tones, but not the darker ones. Any good makeup item suggestions for the darker tones?

i really dont have any specific item suggestions but i really like the way bright bold colors look on dark skin. white colors, neon colors, pastels, anything. dark colors look good too but i feel like bright colors make the skin tone really pop.

this isn't a super extensive list, but here are some items i like.

for neutral/nude lip items:

saturated colors and dark lips also generally work well, in my opinion + variants

i agree with that bold and bright colors are also really great options! like these: + variants + variants + variants

one combo i really like is layered underneath items like or / this only really works on bases 8 and up, though. those blushes and freckle lotions are also great on their own.

there are a lot more items of course, but i hope this helps a little bit.
