Hello! so i'm pretty new to these art market things online but ive always wanted to try it out!

Ive only recently uploaded my artworks on my instagram so you can check them out here : https://www.instagram.com/ekocoon/

I'm really iffy about the pricing on subeta ;; do you usually trade with CSC? if yes then how much would my art worth?

For now i just wanna get started on selling art and doing commissions online, still pretty confused about the paypal things tho ;;; so i suppose getting started here should be a good practise? owo;; anyways it will really help if anyone can kindly share some of their experiences doing commissions and stuff too ;u;

Oh wow, your art is so neat & cute! D: I adore it! ~

Anyway, basically art on subeta is priced in sP, CSC, and/or USD. If you want a shop in the Art Market you need to have at least one slot exclusively dedicated to onsite currency (sP, CSC, and/or possibly WL items..?), though other slot(s) can be for whatever you want. sP to CSC convertion is 100 CSC = 5-10 mill sP (you can choose, though it would probably do you well to look up the current going rate for 100 Credit Gift Cards with regular intervals & judge according to that). 100 CSC = $1.

One of the basic good ideas is to do a freebie thread in the Art Freebies subforum to check/work up some interest. (Be sure to make a ping group for people to join!) Afterwards you can either open a pay-as-you-will shop in the Art Market (though setting a minimum price would probably a good thing), or just start with careful prices & increase as you make yourself more familiar within the scene.

Digital art is generally more popular than traditional, but your traditional art is really clean, so that's a plus. Human is [generally] more popular than quad, but since you do both then that is again a plus.

What in particular is it that you want to sell? If you give specific examples (sketches like x, fullbodies like y) then it might be easier to give you a rough beginner's price!

Anyway, as I said, your stuff is cute & great(!), so you should have no problem attracting an audience! ^^

To be quite honest I suck at pricing, ha-ha;; But let's see...

Sketches/Lineart (whatever they are to you) - 8-15mill sP (100-150 CSC) Fully coloured - 20-50 mill sP (250 - 500 CSC) perhaps (depending on size (headshot vs. fullbody vs. chibi etc.) & complexity)? That cat especially is a delight. (However, it would probably do you good if you made the background on the digital ones transparent. Similarly, if you could make the traditional ones' background as white as possible, then that would be the best - the cleaner you get them, the more you can charge!)

I've no clue how to price the animation - sorry! It depends quite a bit on how much time & effort they take to make, and that compared to interest. That said, that mudkip has got to be the best thing I've seen all day. (Possibly all week.) :'D

These are just very basic starting suggestions, and you should adjust as you start to get the feel of things. Don't be afraid to increase the numbers, but keep an eye on how easily your slots fill up. Test the waters & gather some interest first, and you'll be running a great shop in no time at all!

Best of luck!
