Inspired by Pokemon Go, I decided to make a new Pokemon themed avatar. I'm part of Team Mystic, so I wanted to go for a blue look while matching my two companions!

Anyone else put together a trainer avatar?

I really wish there was a pokeball item we could hold..

OMG yes! Go use non-existant powers of awesome dorkyness (that are actually good) to create a pokeball for us to hold! I am only on level 3 still and I have had it for two days. But I live where the internet isn't everywhere. Rawr. But yay, I have it.

I changed my avatar to be pokemon themed. I'm not too much into Pokemon Go since I'm a recluse who doesn't mind not actually going out to catch them all... Ahem. I did manage to go out once in a car ride and experience more of the game.

I also wish there was a holdable pokeball :O That would be a good touch. There's the but it's not wearable. It's kinda odd, this item. It seems like a direct copy of the pokeball; I would have thought the pokeball design was copyright or something.

I'm also team mystic and created my current blue HA to reflect that! I was trying to make a more mystical HA but couldn't get it to work out so just went ALL BLUE.

Thanks for the ping! I had forgotten about this thread, and I didn't sign up for notifications, so I just assumed no one had made any pokemon themed avatars! I love yours, very nice use of the plushies!

Love your trainer, she looks like the type who would travel with mine! I kinda went for a punky look with her, like an older trainer with a mature team. Yeah it is a shame that none of the pokeball themed items are wearable. There's all the Subetaball variations, none of them area wearable either.

I've kind of stopped playing as much from when it first came out. I've been on level 14 for weeks, but it is still a fun game! I'm honestly way more excited for Sun/Moon!

I had the 'Luxray' item already, but I decided to invest in 'Flygon' for the sake of this avatar! made a ton of great companion items based on several different pokemon that rock!

Yeah, I wish something like this came out when I didn't have a job and was still in college or high school, but it's still a fun little game that has attracted a lot more attention than I ever expected!

Thanks :D You succeeded in making your trainer look punky and mature. I had once designed myself as a trainer but it was a little plain so I think this avatar is my revamped version. The pokemon are of course a throwback to the first games, and I like to think my outfit is a nod to B/W which has a special place in my heart. I fell out of the pokemon fandom during diamond and pearl but the black/white games brought me back into it. B/W also has my favourite pokemon of all time, Scrafty, but I don't think there are any wearables on site based off it.

Yeah I haven't played pokemon go much either and I'm also super excited for sun/moon.

I just realized that I don't have any beta dolls though, that's cool though the life-like dolls can continue going with my theme.

LOVE IT! Instinct doesn't get enough good vibes, but honestly it was my second pick if I didn't go for Mystic! I really like the Telenine companion you have there, it looks great!

Thank you! I haven't made a new avatar in ages, so I was very happy with how it turned out! I like the black and white theme, it was a good generation. Scrafty was my favorite as well! I'm a fan of punk rock, and dark is my go to type, so I loved it! Too bad they don't have a companion based on it here on Subeta.

Do you have any pokemon that you're particularly proud of?

I have Pepper, which is a magmar I hatched, currently my strongest pokemon at the moment as well.

Well my favorite type is Dark and my favorite Pokémon is Houndoom! On one of my copies of Pokémon X, I made a dark team since Greninja fits with water/dark. It was the first time I was able to actually train a Houndoom in a game (because I usually already have a fire type and try to keep things balanced)! I loved bringing him out against Team Flare! Ive been playing mono-teams, I made a new one with only fire and added a Magby for my final team member!

I can't play the game but i still wanted a pokemon HA badly :P
