I'm on Chrome, and I can't see my avatar or sP? Am I supposed to? I also can't find the quest thing anywhere.

welcome to the site! you can add those things to your sidebar from this page! the best widgets to keep there, in my opinion, are the one called "subeta: (your name)" as well as quests, shop search, and search subeta. if you also like seeing your avatar (like i do!), then the avatar section is also nice to have there. also i set my sidebar to "smart" so that it only displays events when i have them.

i hope you have fun here, and of course feel free to ask any other questions you might have. 😊 (ps: maybe you've already figured it out, but you can 'ping' people when you respond to their posts by clicking the little megaphone icon on the top right of their post, so they get an event telling them you responded.)

Where even is my widget bar? And i can't find where to adopt more pets now xD //hurts self in confusion

the widget bar is just the sidebar on the left side of the screen. if you can't see your widgets, it might be on the 'events' tab instead of 'dashboard'. just click dashboard to see them. on the sidebar customization page i linked, you can set whether you want the sidebar to always show the dashboard, always show events, or show the dashboard only when you don't have events. does that make sense?

to get new pets you can either create or adopt, although i think you can only adopt from the pound once your account is a certain age (either two weeks or a month, i think). to create, click the link titled 'pets' in the 'personal' tab dropdown, then click the first link at the top of the page that says 'create pet' (under the picture of the nostalgic kumos toy, aka the cute blue doggie).

to adopt a pet, you can go to Adopt R Us (direct link) by going to explore (you can click the tab titled 'subeta' to go straight to the world map), clicking on delphi (the beach with the red and white umbrella), and clicking on the building with a rainbow on top that says 'Adopt R Us'. there, you can click 'search' to look for a particular species or color, or you can just click the 'refresh pet selection' button to see a different group of pets.

That was very, very helpful! Thank you! I've done quests all morning and have amassed like 1.2mil sP, so I think I'm getting the hang of this pretty well :) My flash games skills haven't degraded too much since Neopets, so I think this should be a snap to get my avatar all prettified ^^

I have two last questions, I think; Is is unusual to get two elixirs for a pet in one day? Because I got a lilac one that seems like it would be very pretty.

And are my pets supposed to hate everything I feed them? Or is it based on happiness or the rarity of the food I'm giving them? Or are they just sassy o:

Compared to Neopets, elixirs are a lot easier to get (depending on the species/color, as some colours such as bloodred are more expensive/rare)

Pets can be sassy, but even food they don't like will help keep them full. Attaching a minion (petpet) to your pet will help keep them happy, and you can also 'lodge' your pets to keep them happy/full in Veta lake (the building on the water) :)
