I was feeling arty last night and painted a few things.

I used texture paste for the raised effects.... then chalk painted, distressed and antiqued.

Your artwork is lovely! It is so refreshing to see these nice pieces being more copper-oxidized looking instead of the chipped white paint distressing that tv shows keep showing. Your painting is subtle and realistic. The grapevine plaque shows this nice subtle age tarnishing the best.

Someday I hope to have a kitchen with copper and a few items just like these to sort of combine wood, copper, stone look together.
