WoW: Legion, I mean. I main a marksmanship hunter so the artifact quest for that looks fun! D:
Also if you're alliance side, by Bnet tag is MorbidFool1524. :'D (Yes, I'm Alliance. I like living in a giant tree.)

I am excited but I am also very very behind on content.. I still need to get my item level up and gear better on my Affliction Warlock.
I haven't played in awhile tho ;-; I'll be watching my bf play time to time since I'll be busy unable to play.
F-for the Horde though...
I have pretty mixed feelings. I wasn't lucky enough to get into the beta (first time since Wrath - super sad about that) but I have been testing a few things out on the PTR. They've removed so many spells and utility it seems pretty boring. I've been maining a frost mage but it just feels so bland. I did a few of the world invasions as fire and that felt a little better but it's still basically cast until you get a proc, use that, rinse and repeat.
My only real excitement comes from being done with WoD.
My main is also a mage, and I think fire is ridiculously fun on the beta. Being able to Fire Blast while in the middle of casting Fireball is a huge QOL improvement, the new Combustion is great, you very rarely feel crit-starved, and the phoenix ability from the artifact is better than a lot of artifact abilities (granted this is not accessible on PTR). It's not so much cast until you get a proc as it is holy shit what do I do with all these procs, lol. Flame On is fantastic both for getting a ton of Combustion damage and also for being able to Hot Streak more often when waiting for Combustion to come off cooldown.
Frost is kind of bland depending on what talents you're using. If you're running mostly passive talents, it will be boring. Frost still has the issue where it can go a long time without procs, so Glacial Spike helps alleviate that feeling that you're doing nothing but spam Frostbolt. Plus it looks cool, feels satisfying to cast, and does a lot of damage. I've been switching between Lonely Winter and Ray of Frost for the first tier, the Ray is fun but I really like not having a pet. The new Brain Freeze is interesting in that with the 1 second buff and the changes to Fingers of Frost, you essentially get a free FoF with your Flurry, as you'll want to immediately cast a no-proc Ice Lance after using Brain Freeze to get an extra Shatter. Ebonbolt from the artifact is kind of meh, I think it might have been cool if they'd let Brain Freeze reset the cooldown on Ebonbolt and make it instant instead of adding Flurry. Also it doesn't look Ebon-y enough for me, I was expecting some giant black icicles or something I guess, it's just like a more purple-y Frostbolt.
I'm so sick of Arcane after a year of HFC that I only got the artifact for it and haven't done much else.
Long story short, yes I'm pretty excited for Legion. I've been in the Alpha since December or January, and I've loved it.
I'm crossing my fingers for an open beta before launch so I can test the weapon a bit but I'm definitely leaning toward fire. I've not cared for arcane at all since they changed it in Cata, and honestly before then it was just a simple rotation of arcane blastx4 - arcane missles - barrage...which wasn't very engaging to begin with lol.
My other 2 options are ele shaman and spriest. That's why I'm really dying to be able to test more in depth than just the invasions.
I have an arcane mage, which I started during WoD. I like the feel of arcane more than frost, which is how I leveled. :/

Most everyone I know who mains mage is baffled by my refusal to play arcane. I know I could pull better numbers if I took the time to practice with it but I just can't make myself do it. I actually mained an ele shaman for years and just switched to mage around the time Blackrock Foundry came out because I was so upset with how poorly elemental was performing.
I'm sort of excited. It's a 50/50 thing. I'm kind of bored with WoW as it is but when the content is out it will probably be different.
I only got to 1/13 Mythic HFC status (with 12/12 Normal & Heroic Completed) with my raiding guild on my Shadow Priest so I am unsure if the buff to Spriests will be nerfed to hell the month after release.
Spriests will be godlike and I just don't want to be set up for a fall. It's my favorite class and when I've managed to work my butt off for Mythic and unfortunately not getting past 1/13 status it will be hard on me.
I do have two hunters, a rogue, a paladin, mage, monk, warlock, death knight, spriest and druid to choose from however, but I will always play priest as a main. I will try out Demon Hunters as well.
Djinngi#1636 is my battle tag. I am horde however. :)

I actually started a priest after seeing how OP the Holy artifact was when Alpha first came out. Alas, I'm still in HFC heroic on my main. i probably won't get an Archimonde kill on heroic before the pre-patch drops, but I'm not that cut up about it, really. I'm more looking forward to punching Gul'dan in the face, in Suramar.
Seeking:
It's OP? Oh god. Man I hate how they're doing artifacts that nail us into certain specs I'll want a Spriest Artifact but I just know my guild will need me for heals as well as DPS during some times.
If you have the gold at least, H Arch kills usually go for 30k gold. I wouldn't spend more than that or people are overcharging.
And yeah. That too. I've not even looked at much in Legion for spoilers yet but hopefully it'll be excellent.

Actually all the priest weapons look great, but I always wanted to try a spam-healer. xD I'm a bit reluctant to spend any gold, I'm not that fussed by the moose mount either, since there are more coming. I'm busy hoarding gold for the inevitable gold sinks Blizzard will introduce, the 2mil Spider mount included.
Seeking:
Ahh no problem. .
And yeah holy is fun for that. And yeaaaaah gold sinks. I only really spend gold on subbing for WoW so I don't have to pay cash thankfully but that Spider mount. I will probably never have that, lol.

The thought of my snarly worgen warlock sitting on a giant spider keeps my dream alive. :'D

Hah that'll be nice. I think i'm set on mounts so far I love my moose which I've named Meese. He makes me happy.

For The Horde...and For The Alliance! gets bricked for being a treacherous wench
I main a BM Goblin Huntress (Vj) and Tauren Feral Druid (Wheatgrass) on live. Since getting into the Legion Beta though, I'll be switching to an MM hunter and a Balance w/ Resto Specialisation Druid...and a Gnome BM Hunter because I need Thok The Bloodthirsty in my pet lineup (I have a "Say hello to my little friend!" macro reserved for that toon) X3
I'm excited for the Transmog Collection UI (I'm one of those players with ZERO inventory space left on ALL my dang toons DX!), the Spider Mount (it is so very creepy and awesome and my druid must have eet!), the boost to total gold each toon can carry, and the secondary artifact/spec questlines. However, I think I am most excited for the game to release in general because the size and depth of detail in the zones (especially Suramar!) is absolutely beautiful. I love all the neat new effects they've added to the interaction level your toon has with the world around them.
And I'm a shameless mount/minipet collecting fool, so it's nice to meet others who share the same passion =D
Find me on Bluesky: <3
Most everyone in my guild burned out after just barely starting mythic progression so I wasn't that concerned with the switch to arcane. Frost served me well through heroic.
Luckily I did get a beta invite 2 days ago (a month before launch is better than nothing, right??) and I really like how fire plays. I want to try frost but the artifact quest is bugged and none of the workarounds I've read seem to solve my issue.
I was able to get my frost artifact quest to un-bug by switching factions when the free faction switch came up (I think it cycles between faction, race, and appearance change). If you do that and skip the other faction's broken isles intro quest thing and go directly to dalaran > deadwind, you should be able to finish it.
I read that on the forums and tried on my main that I copied over - I had too much gold. I did a premade mage to check it out but so far I've only seen the race and appearance change options when I log in. I'll keep trying for sure!
Now that we're only a few days away- how's everyone feeling? These invasions have allowed me to level my alts dozens of levels. :)
I noticed no one really talked about Legion lore in the post. Anyone here a big fan of the lore in the game? I can't waiiiiiit to see Suramar! Elves, elves as far as the eye can see!
