After all that revolution, with all that air warfare and such, you'd think Ziara would have an airport, or an aircraft museum, or something! But no! No sign that Atebus ever had it's own form of air travel. What happened to it?
I'm not saying it should be anything special or anything. Maybe something like Delphi's Museum of Modern Art except devoted to air and space! (It could be like the Smithsonian!) And it should definitely have jobs for pets, what ever it is. I'm not sure what it should be. I just notice the obvious void and am trying to figure out some way to fill it.

Well, there are a couple of hot air balloons floating around Ziara.
I'm not against a museum or something, but I'm not really sure what could be added to it? Ziara is already the focus of a very large annual event and I know we've gotten aircraft items from Masquerade before; I don't support those being moved to an sP-based shop instead, so I don't really know what else you would put in a museum
i think this would be v cool, actually! it doesn't have to have a shop necessarily, considering aviation items are often included in the masquerade shop, but maybe just a page (or multiple pages) of exhibits where you can view and read about the various aircraft would be pretty interesting, and would certainly make the lore of ziara feel more immersive. i mean, isn't that what subeta has been working towards these days? with the introduction of new locations and new activities - shengui guo and the floating market and the bath house, the bakery, etc. things that are more interesting than "here's a button, click it and a number will be subtracted from your number of imaginary money and an imaginary picture of an object will appear in the imaginary white space that is your imaginary inventory."
This could be pretty neat! It could have a public copy of [item=Ziara: A History Through Headlines], which you can choose to "take a closer look!" and read (I forgot if you can follow the link or actually need the book though). It has some more lore from the 2013 Masq plot in there c:
I don't care much for planes and the like and yet I feel that this would be a pretty awesome lore building idea. Definitely has my support.
Full support, because I am actually in love with the pilot NPCs and I want to see them more, maybe as portraits in the history museum.
In addition to 's idea, I'd love to find out more about the aristocrat NPCs. Who were they and how did they fare during the Revolution? I really like this suggestion from a lore perspective and I'd like to see new items in a museum (house museum?) instead of moving any existing ones.
Maybe someone's mansion got turned into the museum, airplane hangar included.

As an aviation nerd, I fully support this idea.
How have I not added my support to this, more Revolution and/or aerospace history lore heck yeah
they/them/theirs, please.
It occurs to me, if it were a museum and were to have a shop, the existing Atebus shop could be moved into the Museum to become the Museum's gift shop. That would prevent conflict with the Menagerie.

Or, since there was talk at one point about removing the Atebus shop, we could rebrand the shop as a airport or an aircraft museum. I personally love the artwork from the Masq. plots and it'd be great to give some of that (or new artwork in a similar style) a more permanent place onsite.
I don't think the atebus shop is in danger of getting removed any more. We've had new item releases and people are pretty passionate about it staying.
I wouldn't actually mind a second separate shop :)
Something like this would definitely be cool. I would love to have a way to look back at some of the old plot lore and stuff, and this would be a great way to incorporate that.
I love this idea. Perhaps we could have some information about all the aircraft which turn up in the Flight Simulator game.
I like this idea! I'm always interested in the lore from before I joined Subeta.
