I feel kind of weird doing an introduction post because I tend to be the kind of person who lurks on forums rather than participate, but I hope to change that. I also feel strange being on a virtual pet website at my age, but that's another matter.

From what I've seen of Subeta so far it looks pretty interesting. I already adopted a bunch of pets (most from the pound) because they were just too cute. I'm still confused on some aspects of the game/world but I'm gradually figuring things out. Probably.

My interests include films (specifically horror), books, music (playing and listening), rum, and not getting enough sleep. Nice to meetcha.

Thanks for the links! I'm sure those'll help. I'm 25, so not OLD, but I feel like virtual pet sites tend to be aimed toward a younger crowd. Plus I act like a granny with all my health problems and "get off my lawn, kids!" attitude. It's good to know there are a lot of older people here!

Hey fellow lurker! Are you really a newbie? Your HA an pets are so decked out already! I agree that the pets are the best. Of yours, I particularly think Aeriko and Schabli are the cutest. I probably have a ton of questions but I don't even know what they are yet, ha.

Thanks! Your HA is pretty cool too. So far I've been focusing on doing all the quests possible, so maybe that's a good start. Other than that, I'm no help!

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of our membership are in the mid twenties plus (I'm just stating from general user interaction, not quoting on actual site statistics or anything), but most people comment that we have a more mature user base than other similar sites, so hope you like it here :)

That's awesome! I don't have anything against teenagers or preteens, but they seem to think that anyone past 21 is "old." Maybe I found a place where I can talk about knitting and arthritis and drinking while still enjoying cute things! Speaking of which, that red panda is so adorable.

I'm lousy at counting stitches so I don't knit, but I'm sure you'll find friends here :) We do have people from all walks of life, there's a lot of groups on the Chit Chat > Small Talk forums that you might like too :)

Eh, If I'm honest, I'm pretty horrible at knitting myself but making hats is a nice way to pass time in waiting rooms and such. I have checked out some of the chit chat forums and maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place, but they seem to be fairly inactive. I'm worried about making new topics because it doesn't seem like people really want to discuss things....

I'm going to have to look at those red panda videos. I have to find it, but I saw this one with a baby seal that was the best.

If by active you mean you are seeking a more fast paced 'chat' as opposed to the 'forum' system, there is the Shoutbox. I'm not sure if it's turned on by default, but you can activate the SB via Personal > User Dashboard > Widgets > Shoutbox (add)

Not really my cup of tea personally because I'm often on and off between work and whatnot, so I can't keep up with the pace of it, but maybe you'll like it :)

Thanks! I'll start there. I think I prefer the forums to the shoutbox so far. I took a peek at it and I couldn't follow the conversation at all. I have a lot of time on my hands for the most part but I'm still kind of slow.

Hola! Don't feel old, I'm 24 and tbh I think a lot of members are in that sort of age group. I'm pretty new here, about a month ish, but I'll help you out if I can. I'm a lurker too, mostly, but I've never been very chatty anyway :P

When I'm feeling chatty often I there's a couple of different forums for me to chat in, eg. a cult forum (a lot of cults have their own forumgroup, which have a private forum), or any areas of interest such as Achievements, Avatars, Pets, etc. :D Even if all of the threads might not move super fast, with how many different places you can chat, you can set your own pace how often you want to reply, and how many threads you're chatting in at a time ^__^

Ahah, yeah! I think it's probably only been around 3-4 months? c: I have no life though so I was always on Subeta ahaha.

And yess, both of those pets I snagged at the pound . c: (Glacier pets are my favorite eheh) There's also an Adoption Center forum you can check out where people post about pet names they want, or when they want to adopt out their pets, etc. c:

i knit steel.... chainmail is a fun hobby... passes you a bottle of rum im 28, ur not alone. honestly a lot of the people here are 18+ (kinda curious the breakdown of age categories on this site, but most seem to be adult...)

another thing to do is get into battling. thats kinda all i do on the site...

I don't have much of a life at the moment either! I like glacier pets too. I'm still trying to decide what color/species I want for future pets. I'll have to check out that forum.

Chainmail is awesome! Yeah, I'm beginning to realize that the age group of this site is a lot older than I initially expected (in the best way possible). I was curious about battling! I don't even know how to start...

Depends on how into it you wanna get. First off get training your pet. Train stats evenlyish. Get some starter wrapons, red rreign staff of lore is a good one. When i can type properly i can help better... on my cell at work atm...
