It would be really nice if Major Drill's quests were formatted the way all the other quests were. And by that I mean that instead of only having a 'Give Up' button, there were a 'Finish Quest' and 'Quit Quest' button on the same page. I know, it's not really that much work to refresh but while we're streamlining things, I'd so appreciate it if that were an option, it's kind of annoying to have to refresh every time. Like obviously not game breaking. But it'd be nice.
I'm gonna have to agree, mostly because I've recently been doing Major Drills only recently and I still tend to click 'Quit Quest' two or three times a day, forgetting to refresh. I mean, thanks for the dialogue box and all, but I feel like this would be better.
The dialogue box is great if you're paying attention, but I'm kinda foolish and blow straight through them without reading them lol. I'm probably not the only one and while it is my own fault, this would just be a lot better and more consistent in general. Plus, refreshing. Who the heck wants to refresh when they know they already completed the quest and just want to submit it.
Support! Also it would be nice to have links to the places, the only mission that have it it's the "kiss the memorial"

You so do not want to see my sticky note addon (so many links) I have on that page. It's longer than three of my widgets combined, Subeta:username, Oracle, and shop profits. lol

I would love to eliminate that refresh nonsense! Agreed that its not a big deal, but it is a daily minor annoyance! Would also love to see links within the quests.

Well I still support this then...nothing has changed.
it's a part of the rules, I'm just enforcing them. if there's a duplicate thread that's within the necro limits of 15 months since the last post, I'm supposed to lock it. No one gets in trouble when I lock a thread and no one is expected to find the threads. I understand finding them is difficult - I have to do it all the time - but that's a part of what I have to do in S&I.
for the suggestion, I support it. When I did drills, it was always an annoying part of it that I'd have to refresh. I, too, opened the quests in new tabs because that's the single easiest way to do it.
I didn't assume I was in trouble for it, it's the only forum that has a 15 month limit it appears (everywhere else is 3 months on necro), and it's a fairly useless extra limit considering 90% of the time staff never responds and you go through the effort of posting everything and pinging people (and getting them to respond) only to have it locked and then have to migrate everyone to a thread that you cannot control the first post of (and therefore can't update with additional concerns/suggestions). Not your fault, just a very pointless rule in general in my opinion.

I'll respond to this but it'll be my last response on that since it's off topic:
Suggestions&Ideas when I became a minimod was originally like problems&bugs and site feedback - no rule about necroing at all so all threads were fair game. The rule was changed in October (here) but staff agreed upon 15 months because I think that gave enough room for suggestions that come every year to remain active - like ones that relate to certain holidays.
The idea behind locking threads and migrating is that staff wants the ideas and opinions together so if they do decide to look into an idea, they can see how more people feel about it instead of being directed to a bunch of different threads with overlapping comments. Staff doesn't post on every thread though, and creating a new one isn't more or less likely to draw them in than having an older thread brought back.
Whenever I do lock a thread that has multiple posts on it because another thread exists, I make sure to send a ping to everyone - it should have gone through on the last thread but it might not have since the thread didn't lock right away either.
Any further discussion on this should either be done by site feedback, comment if you'd like to talk to me, or ticket if you want to discuss it personally with staff. I don't want to derail this thread :)
[edit] making a duplicate thread is not a big deal at all, I don't expect anyone to find most of the threads in here since it can be difficult. that's part of why I'm here though, to search for threads that sound familiar to me and help people find the threads they didn't find. I don't mind doing it, and I don't think anything negative if someone does make a duplicate by accident.

Can Blue Building Quests be updated too while you're at it? There's no search shop buttons under the items when a quest is started.
