On the 13th, you sent me a little gift with a lovely message attached to it but I wasn't online to see it until just now.

The reason I haven't been online in the last two weeks is because my dad is currently on life support and I had to drive cross-country to see him and decide whether to list him as a DNR or Full Code in case he doesn't make it through his surgeries. I ended up having to return home the day before Father's Day and so he had to spend it in ICU alone. I've been pretty catatonic lately.

While you of course had no idea about this, the timing was still oddly perfect and I appreciate it so much. People don't often realize the impact a RAoK can have on someone because you never truly know what someone may be going through. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so so so so much. It meant the world to me and I really wish you weren't anonymous so I could thank you personally and properly.
