This is just me wanting a dark blue pose color that isn't galactic. But a pet color that's adapted for living in caves (or deep sea, for nautical pets,) with the associated physical changes, (huge eyes, feelers, bioluminescence, etc) would be a cool thing to have. Maybe they could be indigenous to shadowglen's underground...

You could go a couple different way with this idea. A dark, deep-sea bioluminescent pet, or a very pale/semi-transparent, blind cave dwelling pet. Either way I think it could be pretty awesome! I guess I'd only worry about a darker deep-sea pet color being too similar to hydrus, unless they make it like glade and harvest.

An interesting proposal because blind creatures, see-through skin, extra feelers .etc sounds cool.

Bioluminescence and feelers are pretty much used in Hydrus pet designs, though

This suggestion is just DARK BLUE HYDRUS, pretty much

not really, Hydrus' aesthetic is basically 'sea monster classic' with spines and tentacles and frilly fins. These guys wouldn't have a lot of overtly fish-like features unless they were nautical pets to begin with. When I talk about these pets having exagerated feelers, I mean more along the lines of what this little guy's got going on then the fins and tentacles of the hydrus pet. If we go the way some of the others have suggested, blind with translucent skin, then the end result would be a lot like experiment

I'm assuming you mean something more along the lines of translucent, blind. Anyway, I have no issues with it personally.

My first thought of cave pet was something similar to this though dark blue and bio-luminescence could work as well.

Yeah my interpretation was similar to Normandy's when you said cave. cave lobster

i actually quite like this idea - while the aquatic pets might be a little similar to hydrus, i think overall it could be very interesting. perhaps it could be connected to the underground, i.e. pets adapted to living in the dark underground catacombs with minimal light? i know we already have graveyard associated with the underground, but that's more 'reanimated corpses aka zombies' and this would be more 'living pets adapted to their physical environment.' dark colors, bioluminescence (maybe green instead of hydrus's blue, as we see in some underground-associated items), adaptive feelers/extremities, big eyes OR small/no eyes (many animals that live in the dark don't need eyes so they have rly small eyes)? could be v cool. maybe there could be a fungus element, like glowing mushrooms growing from their bodies?

reference wrt the green luminescence thing:
