Hello, can anyone give me some names for any good PS3 games? I need any kind of video games. I mostly like first-shooter and adventure games, but I would like to try something new, so a little from anyone would be nice.

Man, oh, man, do I have a list for you!

If you're looking for action-adventure, I'd recommend Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire (this one is also a mystery/crime-solving type of game, which I personally love) and one of my all-time favorite action-adventure series is Assassin's Creed. Dragon Age is also a wonderful action-adventure series! Also, if you haven't played them yet, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 RE:Mix and its Kingdom Hearts 2.5 successor are excellent as well. DEFINITELY one of my favorite series of all time. And Sleeping Dogs is awesome!

As for FPS, Mass Effect is also one of my favorite series!

Also, I don't know if you're into platformers, but I'd TOTALLY recommend The Sly Collection and The Jack and Daxter Collection.

Lastly, I'd recommend Lollipop Chainsaw (my HA is a cosplay of the main character!) and No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise. Both are directed by SUDA51, one of my favorite video game directors; his games are very avant-garde and off-the-wall, and I'd recommend his work to pretty much everyone. He's a real gem!

Hope this list wasn't too overwhelming! I love video games, I hope you find some titles that you like <3

Killer is Dead and Shadows of the Damned are some of Suda51's other great works, if you're into strange nonsensical stories these are definitely for you.

There's a Silent Hill HD collection (which includes hd ports of sh2 and sh3) If you've never played the series it's a great place to start, they're survival horror games but very much story driven and excellently written, also the monster designs are sick!

As far as FPS goes Bioshock is a great series, also very story driven and exploration oriented and not your run of the mill military shooter.

If you've got a friend to play with Borderlands is another standout series, it's a (optionally co-op) FPS with RPG flare like a level system, skill tree, and loot based gameplay.

Fallout 3/Fallout: New Vegas is basically post-apocalyptic skyrim and is insanely addictive.

If you're into JRPGs there's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, It's a video game made in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, the animation studio responsible for Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle as well as a wealth of other great films. (it's very child friendly but that doesn't hurt it in any way)

Hope this helps (^_^)v

I don't know if it'd be your style, but Journey is my absolute favourite game for PS3 for sure! I adore it so much and periodically replay it because wow. Also, Portal 2 is fun and a classic for a reason!
