I can't get different versions of the same weapon to show properly in battle.

I unclicked the Paint Brush Blades that had Blessings of Natural Armor chocked in all four mod slots in my battleset and clicked the PBB in my armory's general pool that had Dark Defense Baguettes chocked in all four mod slots, and chose save. Then I hovered over my battleset Queen to see that the Dark Baguettes were chocked in and they were. So there wasn't any confusion on the part of Subeta about them switching that same kind of once=per=set weapon in and out of my battleset.

Then I went to fight Buttwings. No +12 darkdef, and it wasn't me being too-stupid from the excitement of the old Pylot throwback challengers and still exhausted from running my precinct on Tuesday and chocking in regular old offensive dark bagu that look nearly the same either, because PBB doesn't do any dark.

So I tested this out, I modded two different eventide chakrams differently I equipped the first one, used it against buttwings, and it worked. then I equipped the second one, used it against buttwings, and it showed the stats of the first chakram.

when I equip them both, everything works as expected.

I had no way to check if something was once-per-set related as we discussed. I was trying lots of duplicates of weaponry I have scored in the past and it wouldn't tell me I had mistakenly put two of a kind that couldn't be two of a kind until I tried to start a fight.

that's the only weapon I know off the top of my head that doesn't have that restriction lol, wasn't sure it had mod slots but it does so I was able to check.

so it looks like it's just pulling the wrong weapon when you have two in your armory and only put one in your set.

Twelve hours later with the Darkdef chocked PBB in the battleset and it still thinks the BNA version PBB is the one it should use, so probably not a cache delay.

[edit] okay now the darkdef one is showing in battle, it's 918PM subetatime. As of the original time of posting this 624PM subetatime, I had given up on it showing up and replaced it in the battleset with the BNA one thinking the darkdef one would not show up in actual battle at all.
