Just to give you a little idea of where I am headed with my own set. My default set consists of trident, PBB, RV, rblaster, pquill, reviver, energized helmet and item hunter bomb. Depending on what I need, I may swap out the bomb for STS, TS, another blaster, or weapon. I would like to get natasha, cronus and MW to add to my set. I think the key to any armory is to have a variety of weapons to switch between depending on who you are fighting. I would say the most commonly dealt icons at higher tiers are dark, earth and fire, followed by water and maybe physical and light. Unfortunately there are not many dark blockers and the ones that are out there tend to be expensive. I would pick up the ornate hook swords if you need a constant earth blocker and natasha for its perks and fire blocking.

there's no best set for t12, like said, it's all about variety. the best set varies heavily based on your opponent. sts = shinwas temple shard ts = truth serum, which I wouldn't buy, it has very limited use and in almost all situations you're better off with blasters

my default set is

cronus and skull staff for attackers, helmet for freezing, quill and reviver for healing, blasters for blasting (though I don't blast often, especially in bqs), and mecha for mechaing.... it's kinda just there as filler honestly. Mecha is useful in certain battles, I mostly use it out of habit.

this set gets me through BQs, though my stats are too high for me to really worry, I can equip almost anything and make it through bqs. it's probably most important to have a set that gets you through BQs consistently first, then you can worry about non bq opponents. Manifesting Weapon may help with that, because prodigy and his high amount of water. it kinda depends what opponents give you trouble though. if you can make it through BQs every day, then start to look at what opponent you want to beat next and look at which weapons are best against that opponent.

With the Mecha I guess I will have to save up for the components to make it. Ive spent almost a billion sp on battle stuff in the last few months.

you'll eventually be able to earn your own cronus from meatslab when you are strong enough. skull staff is probably quite hard to find, but worth it if you do find one. I don't use many full blockers any more, but they do have their uses.

yeah mecha isn't worth buying with sP, so make one when you have enough components. I wouldn't say that's too high of priority

I shall keep my fingers crossed for the skull staff. Kind of hoping throwback thursday provides lots of new weapon opportunities for me.

Yeah the truth serum I bough many years ago through the reading drive and has very limited uses for my T11 since most opponents are no stealing or have so many weapons stealing doesn't really help. The only time I use it now is if it's a very tough opponent that allows for stealing and I have the chance at stealing an OP weapon it has only one or two copies of. I too would like a tainted staff for my default set so I'm hoping they bring that challenger back otherwise my default will probably switch to natasha and PBB. Definitely don't buy the mecha. You can do without it on most occasions.

Just bought USS. Its helping me with Flamagia. I'm going to have to sell my entire wardrobe soon lol.

Guess Natasha should be on the next big weapon list. Now if only I could get my health raised way more Im set!

xD I actually can't think of what USS is LOL. Flamagia I have been able to beat for battle quests using fire blocking scrolls, + my freezing scrolls, energized helm, trident and PBB. Not sure if you are going for all 10 wins though. Fire blocking is the best for him and since blessings are disabled, the best you can do is hope he doesn't steal or freeze you. Bringing in a third weapon is always good for him. Natasha is your best choice really since it blocks fire and creates bullets he could steal instead.

Natasha might be obtainable after Christmas. I just got through all 30 BQ took 2 hours

Oh duh the syringe! Oh nice! The furthest I have gotten is level 29 (so close!) Natasha for me will hopefully be by the end of the year as well. For the most part I've found that as long as I keep increasing Intel, there is always a scroll or set of scrolls I could use to cover for items I am missing until I save up and buy what I want. They may not last you the whole battle , but they should last long enough to help you survive

yes I know exactly what you mean! Although I need to figure out a good combo for Decayed still. Without that staff or skelly scroll that one is a toughie. Although I am increasing my health heaps at present by fighting the big challengers I had not been previously able to. Will try Decayed again this weekend unless Im successful in a weapon loan.

I got two wins and almost a third using the set I posted in the battle forum. I also modded the swash and pbb with dark defense baguettes since he is consistently doing dark damage. I'm using potions as well as shards for attack and defense. For scrolls I am using skelly, 3 cobalts, one SE, gotf, 2 wind blocking scrolls and morosbane

Cronus is a genetech combo. When you defeat meatslab, the furious 5 times, you get from an achievement which is the main component in making the cronus

Skull staff is the top weapon prize against tainted jaxon skelly - a boss. So I doubt they'll bring him back. If skull staff is rereleased, I expect it to be in the antique shop

I would say aftershocks since it blocks some earth and dark but doesn't heal as much. If you need more heal you can try tf scroll but that has 0 defense.

You don't think they will do another event like with the jellies or make him a throwback opponent? I'll take antique prize, just don't make it cost 4bil sP :p

the only boss that has ever been brought back is hydragellos because that in itself is an event, jaxon was a plot boss, bringing back a plot boss is unprecedented. the prizes from that plot will eventually go into the antique shop (not any time soon) and I expect to see the battle prizes there too, but I can't be certain on that. I doubt it'd be quite 4b but who knows.
