Heyo! My current battle pet is Konosku:
Level: 721 Health: 1802 / 1802 Strength: 1802 Defense: 1800 Speed: 1805 Intelligence: 764
(In regards to training, i'm not too sure when people start focusing on specific stats? He's got an even build so far, i'm not sure if I should keep going even or start specializing him. I know the importance/impact of certain stats got changed a while back!)
As for sets, here is my current one!:
And here's some other weapons I have lying around:
And for scrolls, I have (currently using the top row):
Anything I should keep/ditch/put on/look into buying for this tier and beyond? :U
is a great t10 weapon and sorta affordable. no a huge fan of the rift staff because it doesn't heal consistently until t11 you can work on upgrading your freezer to with your battle tokens. is worth looking into getting eventually, and your recycle blaster in your armory may still come in handy for some fights.
hm do you know if screams from the pit has a higher freeze rate than perilous whirlpool? if not you're better off with a perilous whirlpool in there. terra focujin is nice, you can move to aftershocks which as less healing but offense and defense so it gives it an edge over terra focujin gelaspell is nice too. fatal fire is a nice defense scroll. you can probably get rid of divine denizhen, soothing current, stinging swarm, and vengeful tide
scrolls really depend on your AP. it's always nice to have more defense scrolls like cobalt eternal, sancturia exodin, and fatal fire freezers are nice too. shriek of despair and psycho smasher are the big ones, but stuff like perilous whirlpool suffices until you can get the bigger ones bombs are nice too, like morosbane and lucky, even gift of the forj has a lot of use for awhile
for training, I'd dump you exp into HP exclusively for awhile. having higher HP means you can take on tougher challengers earlier. really it's up to you and it works itself out eventually anyway, some people stay even for awhile longer.
Thanks, i'll start looking into those items!
Do you find that you still get use out of the after T10? :U Are other weapons more handy after (that I can hold off and get)?
I think I remember having a slightly higher freeze rate from that scroll guide that used to be on the forums? It's gone now but i'll try to find out if that's still the case.
Thanks so much for the scroll and training help! I was considering going to 2000 in each stat before focusing on health/strength...lots of challengers are still tricky for me since the hard ones can knock me out in 1-2 hits and I don't have enough health/strength to outlast them and take them out yet. x-x
Unstable sample syringe is the only real accessible ice blocker for most people so it does have some use past t10. I don't use it often, but once in awhile I will. The other good handy t10 weapons get more expensive than that. Ornamented hook swords in the MC, dark goddess rod is okay, possessed bow, tempestuous bladed gauntlet... T10 has some good but expensive options.
Having more health will really benefit you. Not only will you be able to take harder hits, but you will heal more each turn, allowing you to survive longer
: is an affordable tier 8 freezer. It will do more icons than the Dark Matter Duct Tape.

Thank you for the options! :) If I could ask something more, can I get your opinion on the ? That's something i've been considering purchasing for a while, hoping to get use from it once I hit T11.
Thanks for the advice! Seeing as i'm one piece short of the I think i'll likely hold off till I get that.
Though I was wondering, since people haven't commented on the , is it still good for me to be using it? I've heard some comparison between it and the but i'm not sure if that one is better/worth it. I do seem to favour the freeze/bomb strategy...
paintbrush blades are an affordable option, they're okay. their defense is too spread out to really be too useful, but for its price, you can't really get anything better :P
bombs most of the time are just a waste of a spot in your set. I never use them really.
I don't think bombs are really necessary but I've kept the item hunters bomb as a part of my default set because there really isn't anything else I would fill it with. It is the first item I wil rotate out depending on who I am battling, but it's nice nice to do a ton of damage while an opponent is frozen with it.
I agree with kbbob on the blades. I like them for their attack and heal, but the defense is low and spread out. It can be more useful when you pair it with scrolls like aftershocks, tasselled aegis, or skelly scroll to block more dark icons.
Thank you! I was thinking of going the bomb route but yeah...I really only use it during freezes and it the opponent starts stealing i'm already down so many items. x-x
I'll focus on other items instead of them! I think I really gotta start taking defense into account more since I just try to...out-heal stuff and that's worked out great so far with low hp lol. Kono is far from a tank.
If you already have the item hunter bomb, it may be a good backup to have. The only bomb item I would go out of my way to have would be and even then only for certain situations. At the lower tiers you can get away with over healing, but at higher tiers defense becomes more of a must as some opponents can do 40+ attack of one icon type. As far as training goes, I think it was around T10 that I started to dump more into health and train everything else evenly. Now I set goals I want to be at for each stat to keep a steady rate of increase. I would suggest getting an aftershocks scroll and adding that to your default set. The ornate hook swords are a good T10 weapon to have if you have the funds for it.
