Hey guys!
So my GF () and I have recently fallen back in love with board and card games. We had dinner with some friends at a local board game cafe in town and it renewed our love of table top games of all sorts. As we've now purchased a handful of such games, we're looking to further expand our collection over the next while to include some of the most awesome table top games.
What are your guys' favorite ones? Which ones would you recommend? How hard are they to learn/play? How many people do they require?
To make things even more fun and nostalgic - what were your favorite board games as a kid?
We currently own Pandemic and a couple of its expansions, Ticket to Ride, a few trivia games, Fairy Tale, Patchwork, and Lost Cities (the card game, not the full board game). These are the sorts of games we really like, and we'd love more along the same vein. Other suggestions are more than welcome, too, though!
Yesss please tell us some suggestions!!!

I like the board game Small World. You choose a faction and a "class" or "occupation" and try to eliminate opposing groups. It's really fun.
I also like Dead of Winter which is a post-zombie apocalypse survivor game where you take on the role of some survivors who need to take on zombies.
I also greatly enjoy Alhambra which is a game where you need to build a "fountain" area and some paths and buildings to earn points in the game.
Another fun one is Dixit which is a game where there are really nice looking cards with fantastic artwork on them and you have to give clues to try and get SOME but not all people to guess which card you laid down while others are laying down cards trying to get you to guess within that criteria.
