This quest is now more 'alive' than it used to be, and I find it fun.

It would be charming if quest grantors responded in their own way to you visiting them looking for Shinwa's shards. The site knows that that's what we're doing, so if it is possible to trigger some additional text? For instance:

Allard: When she was last here for some of the latest Orange Pekoe I was showing her the latest stockings from Centropolis that I had seen Esmerelda wearing. She was expressing her delight when I told her how pretty they'd make her look when I thought I heard a clunk. My hearing is just fine youngster! Hrrmph. It will take me some time to find out which drawer of pretties it fell in. I was going to get (quest items) but now I can't. Can you get these for me?

Maleria: Hee hee HEE! I think I see it under my familiar's bed, Mazy always had a fondness for shiny things. No wonder she didn't eat that (insert random minion here) she was playing with. What? You might lose a limb? That's what Rochelle is for stop whining mortal. Alright I might coax it from her but you must perform a service for me, no questions asked.

Nori: It's not in the place where Mori usually hides it. If you help me look for (quest items) we may find it on the way. Mori: Nori thinks she has it stored for safekeeping but I know where it is. I always know.

After a while the phrases for the quest givers get a little stale, so this would be good to spice it up a bit!

this would be so cute!! i'm all for this if it's a thing that could be easily done.

They did it with pet phrases. I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be added to quests. It'd be a cute little thing to add to the quest itself.
