Someone correct me if I'm wrong (or if this has already been addressed) but the white circles on the hands and legs of the Experiment 84 skin ARE holes, right? Shouldn't these be transparent so you can see other things layered under the base (like a background) through them?
The background you're wearing isn't a full background, so even if the holes were transparent, there's nothing there to show through them.
But also I'm pretty sure the holes aren't transparent because the skins used to just be put on over your "base" layer, before there was an actual layer for the base. So if the holes were transparent, your HA's default skin (or zombie skin) underneath would just show through. I'm not sure how the current wardrobe works, if that's possible to be changed or not.
I know, I was actually trying to put a different item under my base to fill in that hole. That's a good point though, I'm not sure if it's actually possible either. I'd like to hear back on it, either way.
It is a skin so those are not eye holes. I remember this being asked in the past and the skin does not work that way.
Sorry

Wait I'm confused. We're talking about the holes in the hands and legs of the HA, right?
The entire thing is a skin and is not made to have any transparent spots because the base would show through anyway. Those are just white holes. Sorry my mind automatically thought of eyes because that is what most people ask about on the skins.

these skins were made before we even had full backgrounds, but yes, they are supposed to be holes. Like Darkrai said, they were made when you couldn't layer anything in between the base and the skins, so the white was necessary. It would require going back and editing the overlay to make it transparent, but it is technically possible.
Right, that's exactly what I was wondering. But from what said, the standard base is still underneath the experiment skin?
As far as I know the base is still there but I am not sure. I put on a skin to see if a separate layer would show so I could move both skin and base but I can't tell...it doesn't seem to replace the base. But yes Bean explained it better...the skin wasn't drawn to be layerable so it would have to be redrawn to even work. It isn't necessarily a bug that the holes are filled in, it is just how they worked when they were released.
