I would love to see more colors of these, along with the orange, like pink and teal and sky blue etc. Please do more stuff for the painter and artsy fartsy pets!

The gold one looks orange, so if you're creating a TC array you can put it in the orange rainbow spot. Names of items don't show in TCs so nobody will know it's gold.

Gold Paw Paint looks gold when you wear it, but also looks orange on its item image.

Or mix red and yellow? The other colors can be mixed, too.

Also, not sure what you mean by mixing? I don't recall a way to use the hobby paints at all on here. My point is, they have the secondary colors of and . They should have orange as well.

It's not just about the orange paint, but about adding a few more art supplies for pets to have in their TCs. :3

You can't mix paints on-site to create different colours. IDK where got that idea from, but it's not an existing genetech combo.

I wouldn't need it for anything myself, but I'm always in favour of items coming in tons of colours (and paint seems like a logical choice for a vast array).

I think by "mixing," meant just putting in red + yellow paints in place of the orange one. But if you're arranging paints in rainbow order, red - red - yellow - yellow - green - blue - purple just looks ridiculous. Maybe red + yellow in place of one paint color, but not in a rainbow.

What said. If you are doing this as part of a roleplay of your pet then part of being an artist is making do when your supplies don't match what you need. I know I have been busy completing a scene in bright california sun and then finding my pale blue is all used up and having to mix more from other colors for my next project because who has time to fight traffic/do non-art to pay for art necessities?

Subeta does have palettes and watercolor sets. As part of a roleplay then the distinction you are making between gold and orange matters but you can show your pet doing mixing or show some mixes to show the colors you want.

If you're just thwacking things into TC order to look good, then gold works fine, because most people's brains will elide over the fact that your orange isn't very orangey (to you) so much that it's something orange-ish in the orange spot. The human brain literally cannot see color except in relation to other color, this is why technicolor film, which is black and white film! can show as color in the theater.

The oranges has cited here look red-orange to my monitor, Sun is definitely more red than Reborn. Anyways my objection is mild it appears that there is some demand from other users also for a true-orange.

To my mind Thimble & Co does a pretty good job of generalist art supplies. Are there some specific examples of missing stuff ?

I'm not roleplaying with my pet, otherwise "mixing colors" wouldn't be a problem. I'm aware that Subeta does have sets and palettes. I have a watercolor palette in the TC. I also know what the human brain can see. I've been doing graphic and web design for past 15 years. Some can see more color than most, some can't see as many colors, and depending on your monitor color can look differently from person to person (like you mentioned with the sun looking more red than orange on your screen).

As for other art supplies, I'm honestly not sure. I'd really just like to see more consistency. As what I said to , there is orange paint but not the kind of paint I was putting in the TC. I will probably go ahead and put in the other acrylic paints as well, just so I can have that consistency, but the art that will be on the profile itself will be focusing on the pots of paint and will have one of orange whether it's on site or not. XD

snrk okay I went to google pantone orange and my monitor is definitely showing more red than it should. The rainbow you have above looked fine to me, so I'm wrong here.

But it is funny that FOPO strikes again! (Foes of Pantone Orange) None of the current new Sanding Sugars is orange. Green and Purple are already mixed secondaries, and they have Pink, but Orange? Nope.

I wonder what other items or item types are missing orange?

I'm still waiting for the day when we get oil paints :(
