I looked at this ages ago, and it was something like...200mil. It's been a few years and I can't find any references, and am wondering if anyone knows the price range for these? I'd like to sell mine, and I know it was a lot but I don't want to be stupid either.

- They haven't been sub-200 in a long while. There have been a couple in trades lately asking 400+, which is high, imo.

The top tier bobbles used to unlock it were just in the CS for 500 each, putting the cost to complete your own collection and unlock one (along with some other stuff) at under 300, realistically 250. Granted it's one per account, but that shouldn't influence the price too much. Before the CS release, they were sitting at 350, if you could find one for sale. Since you're selling, I'd recommend holding it for a bit - it's stats are good enough to keep a constant demand for them.

One person I know was advertising theirs for super cheap, I think 225 mil while the bobbleheads were still in the cs. Another one I know sold for 350mil. 300 -350 mil seems to be the stable price for it. Anything above 375mil is overpriced for the thing imo. I've never seen it sell for 200 mil or less other than right before they released the tier system and increased the drop rate for rare bobbles. You can try and put it up in trades and see what kind of offers you get or you can wait until you see someone looking to buy as it is a very select market.

Thank you! The last time I looked at the price was years ago, probably at least 6.... and maybe it was closer to 300+ vs 200. I just knew it was ridiculous and a small market for them as a result. hehe. I put it in trades, but this helps enormously to know what the steady sell price has been so I know what is reasonable and what's too low. I really appreciate this!

Just dipping my own two cents in after a few folks poked me about this current price check.

I'm selling mine between 500-600mil and am not easily convinced to take much less. Items like these shoot up in price once new oldbies roll back in with even a slight demand on limited items such as this. Sure, some folks right now might be willing to sell for 200mil to 300mil, but that sounds like a quicksale just to make a chunky buck if you ask me. They'll regret it in time.

300M to 350M is fair right now. I wouldn't pay over 350M, especially when the bobbles just retired. And, no one should because they never sold for 500M+

Even with the bobbleheads being out of circulation for years, they never went over 350M because there are cheaper, and better alternatives, and there will be more alternatives released in the future.

Nothing is truly retired on Subeta, and the bobbleheads are going to come back in the future, and have done so twice so far.

Update: I felt like 300-350 mil was a fair price. I got offers for everything from 10 mil to 250 mil from random people. In the end, I sold it to a friend for 325 mil, and am satisfied with that. :)

I really appreciate the input! I hope yours does sell. I mostly wanted to pass it on to someone who could use it (I probably won't) and get a little bit out of it to compensate for what I spent back in the day for the bobbles. But I can completely understand holding on to it for the rarity value and selling it for more if you can. :)

Price for the bobbleheads minus the five rarest: 33 mil (Amy) plus 75.5k (rest) Three of the rest are currently unbuyable via shop search. Assuming all will be available again at the same CSC price, they would cost 2500 CSC. Currently CSC goes for about 52 million for 500 CSC, bringing the total for the five rarest bobbleheads to 260 mil.

Grand total for a complete bobblehead collection at these prices: 293.1 mil. Since the rarest bobbleheads are not currently available, somewhere in the 325-350 mil range is probably reasonable. You can always lower the price if/when the bobbleheads are released. I don't see how anything above 350mil would ever be worth it. 500-600 mil is way overpriced in my opinion, even if the bobbles have been retired for years. As pointed out, nothing is ever really retired on here. When there's demand for it again, the bobbles will be rereleased.

[edit] Just saw your post! Sorry, I hadn't refreshed in a while as I was checking up on prices, etc. Glad you got a fair price for your trident!

That's a great way to break down the price, and I totally agree. Things that were rare and retired when I joined are being released again. It happens, and thankfully since old accounts get purged and all the items go with them. I'm pretty sure I spent around 200+ mil to get the bobbles back in the day when they were being dropped. So I think I'm pretty happy with what I sold it for. And now I have my lumi nest egg. hehe. :)

This is a little nitpicky, but accounts don't get cleared anymore. The pet and usernames become available to take, but the accounts themselves stay intact.

Ah, okay. So...someone may be able to return someday and retrieve stuff. But if they never do, it's just locked in there? That makes sense.

Going to add a bit more info here since I've seen people trying to over charge for the trident and don't want to see others be ripped off.

Price in 2011:https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/157105/PC-on-Trident-of-the-Banished-One/1

Price in 2013: https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/800792

Price earlier this year before bobbles were released to the cash shop again: ">https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/847027/PC-Trident-of-the-Banished-One/1/

The price has been consistent throughout the years. The only time anyone talked about charging over 450mil was when keith was considering removing it as a prize for completing the collection, which he never did as you can still get it for completing the collection.

The other reason trident isn't worth over 400 mil is because of its stats. It blocks 90 wind and does a lot of water damage. Its blessing will fully block water, earth and magma while its curse will do 16 points of damage. It only has 7% heal. It is a semi-godly at best, whereas the swashbuckle hits harder, has 10% heal, blocks 100 wind and only costs 90 mil or so. It's a great weapon and the fact that it scales with your pet makes it appealing, but not worth over 400 mil when some godlies sell for the same or less. Remember, wind is not a commonly dealt icon at higher tiers and the blessing does not activate all the time.

If anything, the Trident lost worth, even if it's selling for the same price, because 350M in 2011 was worth more than 350M now.

Thanks for the links, though!

No problem! Oh yeah the number value is relatively the same but with the depreciating value of sP, the item itself has depreciated. I can't say that I am at all surprised given that they were selling for as low as 75 mil when they increased the drop rate of rare bobbles way back when so everyone that wanted it could get one. The demand on it is not as great as everyone thinks it is. All of the older players that have been around that wanted one already have one so the market is really only there for new battlers. I think the important thing though is that the price on the trident is not just driven by availability, but is also limited by the availability of alternative weapons and its usefulness. Don't get me wrong, it's a great weapon and 300 mil is by no means a small amount of money, but it's not worth buying if you don't get it for the right price.

Right around 300-350mill. As far as the bobble heads go, I am sure there is still plenty on the site. Hell people have had them in their vaults for years. I know I have had some in my vault for years, so just because they are not in the cash shop right now doesn't mean the price should sky rocket. There were a lot of people that had extras after they turned in a set.

I would base the price on the weapon itself and not so much with bobble heads because you can always find people with those. The weapon has been around so long a lot of people already have them. It might be kind of hard to find a buyer unless it's a person newer to battle.

Just wanted to say I agree. I got my first for 350mil in 2011 and then picked up another with bobbles when they were re-released a bit later. I definitely wouldn't expect to pay anything over that - might require a little patience, but rather that than being ripped off.
