I've been away this past week and haven't been to the Adoption Center in a few weeks but was very surprised to see 172 pets in there as it has been much less for a long time now.

I was even more surprised to find most of the pets are common and there names are their species followed by their ID number.

I can't help wondering if a few people with tons of pet slots, and bad taste in pet names, have just dumped all their pets? or is the AC having some kind of melt down?

Anyone know anything about this?

Slowerthanzero asked a question in help and questions yesterday and turns out Subeta staff did a pet purge earlier.

Do you know anything about this? This seems funky.

Yep, there's a thread somewhere (help * questions maybe?) that mentioned that staff did this. A bunch pets with inappropriate names were renamed and put in the adoption center.
