I decided to try some tonight for the first item since the new wardrobe was created, and I can't seem to find an option to remove them. Help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Go into the wardrobe and click on the "items" tab. Drag the eye layer so that it is underneath your base layer. This will hide the default eyes behind your base.
