Hello! This is my first time on Subeta, I used to be hardcore into neopets, but all the changes made by the site's shift to jumpstart has made that it totally unappealing to me. Which is a shame, since I spent a good long time on there. But, so far I am super happy with Subeta! I like it quite a bit more than neo,actually!

I haven't played Neopets in years, but I recently made a new account with some friends to explore it again. We couldn't stay on there for more than a few minutes. It just seems so commercial and gaudy to me nowadays, but I'm sure I loved that when I was younger. ;)

Your hobbies and choice in TV are excellent! There's a thread about dolls that I'll link for you at the end of this post. Hopefully it's the same kind of dolls that you're interested in. I'm guessing from your favourite TV shows that you also like comedy? Have you watched Broad City or Brooklyn Nine-Nine? They're both excellent shows.

Hey Robin, welcome! I agree! Neopets over the last couple of years has turned into a complete disaster. I'm only logging in nowadays to do dailies or put my pets up in the lodge. It's pathetic what it's turned into. 😣

I have always been envious of A/BJD collectors as I'm far too poor for the hobby! How many would you say you've got? I only have one vinyl (non-BJD) doll by the Franklin Mint, which is Rose from Titanic. I am slowly but surely working on filling up her wardrobe with all the costumes from the film. Also dreaming of starting a Pullip collection but I don't have any space for it! :x

I do a lot of traditional stuff! I especially like to work with ink. But I also can do digital art~! I draw a lot of elves honestly lol Here's my art tumblr if you wanna check it out. So far I've only got one bjd, but I'm already planning on purchasing my second doll. Ohhh Franklin Mint dolls are super pretty u And Pullips are super cute~ Ah I feel you one space, doll collections tend to get a out of hand the longer you collect xD

I still have a Neo account, but I barely pop in anymore, especially since they got rid of the petpetpet park... wtf ): that was so much fun!! I'm glad you seem to be liking Subeta so far! I love BJD's!!!! omg!!!!! I only have one cause they're too expensive for me, but she was a gift from a friend. She's all blank and doesn't have any accessories or anything, and I've been dying to learn how to do a faceup and paint her myself. She's a little horseshoe crab mermaid. I have big plans for what I want her to look like, I just want to make absolutely certain that I've read up on how to do it before I make any changes. I'm SO excited though :^)

yikes sorry this is almost a week after you made your board!! but hey welcome friend!! i came over from Neo, too - the site itself is practically unusable at this point and it's a real shame :c the only thing that's kept me there even now is the opportunity to work on the characters for my pets lmao

i poked at your art tumblr a little bit and you've got some lovely stuff *v * don't know much about BJDs or painting them, but do you have pictures of the ones you've worked on?? those would be super neat to see :o hopefully this isn't weird to say but it's also really cool to find someone else who uses it pronouns!! just don't see it much haha <3
