What items do you consider essential for any wardrobe? Alternatively, what are some items that have multiple uses or can be matched to different outfits? What are some items that have been lifesavers for you? Are there any items that look like they'd cost a lot, but are actually affordable and versatile?

I wanted to make this thread more as a reference for newbies, though I know that I'd probably use any tips or suggestions too, so why not. Please forgive me if this is already a thread somewhere else or if I've put it in the wrong forum.

I love things like shorts (I find that they have less "clipping" issues with shoes), scarves (there's one to go with everything!), and background items like the herbs, trees, and foreground items too.

I also find that I like avatars that have little details, like earrings, rings, or barrettes. Little details can really pull together a HA nicely.

When I first started I only browsed through the main shops for my closet, which got me a looot of good essentials for building up what I think are cute outfits. The wardrobe and HA aspect is totally my favorite part of Subeta. I make money just to blow it on my wardrobe.

The basic flats are also really nice and they come in a FUCKTON of colors

Tbh I don't like a lot of shoes, but are pretty versatile. Not too big and clunky.

almost all of the default hairstyles are very dated and not-great, so it's important to find some cheap but versatile wigs when u start out and the other colors are super cute, and the Ripauf items like are fantastic too

You are totally right. I recently got as a quest reward and was surprised at how cheap and fairly cute it was! Also, your avatar is beautiful.

you can get them from the carnival store for 15 tickets apiece these cheap but pretty tattoos match anywhere on a bare layer
