Bookmarks bar vanishes when using certain items

The custom bookmarks the run down the right side of the screen disappear when using certain items like feeding food to a pet:
I have a bookmark set up to feed my infinity berry to my main battle pet, but when I use it the rest of my bookmarks disappear so I can not efficiently move away from that page.
