I've battled Clive through the Battle Quests twice so far and battled with 2 different pets, and on both battles his actions are only varying dialogues on how he's preparing to throw a bauble. The bauble prep action dialogue still changes with each round, but he never moves on to the next step of using it. No damage is dealt any round of the battle from his side, and I can fight and win with no difficulty.

My last attempt was on level 15 of the battle quests, the Clive battle is the usual Battle Center "/games/battle/battle.php"; My operating system is Windows 7, and my browser is the latest version of Google Chrome.

just wondering but what are the attacks listed on his side..that could just be the text for the type of attack he used..its been awhile since I fought him so I really can't recall.

He starts with weapons that do no damage. Each time he uses those weapons he generates weapons that do damage. He can keep using the no damage weapons or switch to the weapons he created. Sounds more like you got lucky with him sticking to the original weapons with no damage.

I dunno.. it seems strange that both times I've battled him, he wouldn't take a single HP.. I remember more difficulty with him when he was a proper event enemy.

Other than the preparation battle text, it didn't list any attacks. Only the Attack: 0 and Heal: 0 items in that column.. unless there's somewhere else to see the attacks?

ah not sure then..sounds like it could possibly be glitched, but honestly no idea..or you just got extremely lucky with his attacks. either way I hope someone can come shed some light on it.

I received him as a Battle Quest level again today at level 15 and thought I'd drag out the battle to see if it helped.. On the first Battle runthrough he actually finally did a proper labelled and functional attack after around 11 rounds(defeating my 60HP pet), but the second time I battled for a little over 40 rounds against him and he did not attack at any point during that battle. I don't know what to make of this..
