Pinging Grouped Friends

had a thought that I thought I'd run by you all... got to thinking about the options in the forum and in forum groups and private threads where you can "ping everyone" "ping favorites", and then thinking about your friends list. I think that having the option of dividing it up in four groups. You can call each group by a "ping (group name)". In a post, you have the choice to ping a certain group, along with the ping everyone and ping favorites. This now gives you more options for pinging friends.
[Center]well, it's been a slice. I'm outta here. I'm done here and I need to move on to other things. I've grown weary of forum bullies and just don't have the energy for them anymore. I am praying for my friends here, as well as the bullies... everyone needs prayer...

I've read your post a few times now and I'm still not really sure what you're suggesting. More info please? What would be the point of these groups of friends and how would they be used differently than the "ping friends" and "ping favorite friends"?

sorry for not being clear enough. The point of these groups are for posting purposes only. See to the right of your post section? It would be added to that list so in the event you need to ping a certain kind of group of friends.... like "friends (date to date)" or "Friends AA" so if you wanted to ping only one of those groups you'll have that option to do so.
