As a young transmale, I love seeing the trans and gender minorities represented in online communities and media.
I want to know what other characters or mentions of gender or sexuality that you have found hidden in the fer corners of subeta. Post them here with a quote of a picture of the character. Remember to be nice, and have fun.

As of the Morostide plot a year or two ago, Jaxon Skelly and Ian are dating. Emma and Esther are also dating.
Quentin is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
Nico and Liz are both ace and QP partners/platonic soulmates.
Garrett from Yun Enterprises is pansexual.
This is pretty much all from memory but I'm pretty sure it's all stated in the 'Pedia as well. I love how Subeta does its best to have all kinds of representation.
they/them/theirs, please.
That's Awesome!

Awwww, would have never thought about it but I am all in for inclusive websites and companies <3

I noticed Jogoh's story the other day while I was rediscovering the site and I was so glad to see that Subeta is still as open-minded as I remembered. I didn't know any of the other facts that listed, other than Quentin being non-binary and using they/them pronouns.
It's really nice seeing other genders, sexualities, and experiences being represented and I always get the warm fuzzies. I know to some people it's not going to seem important, but for teenagers who are playing and just going about their daily lives, I'm sure it's comforting. It certainly normalises alternatives to the heteronormative life, which is important.

Jim from the training center may be trans as well. I don't think it's ever been officially announced, but staff members have mentioned it.

I'm so glad to be a part of a website that actively tries to be inclusive. Go subeta!

Ace person here. ^-^ It's short for "asexuality", which in terms of sexual orientation means the person does not experience sexual attraction.
Thanks , great to see some community representation, Yes, Ace is generally someone that does not experience sexual attraction without it first being 'provoked'. Some Asexuals also identify as sex-repulsed, which means they never feel sexual attraction or are unsettled by the idea of sexual acts.

I would also like to voice my appreciation that clothes are not gendered very much on subeta, male avatars can wear dresses and skirts, female avatars can wear men's coats and such. Avatars are generally fairly androgynous. Thanks Subeta! I mean it!

That would be demi-sexuality, which is within the ace spectrum. Demi-sexuals do not experience sexual attraction unless they have an emotional connection with another person. Some aces may be demi, and not be aware of it because they've never had that experience. (Edit: I should point out that while it is possible someone who considers themselves "fully ace" could actually be demi, you should never tell an asexual person that they "just haven't met the right person yet". A lot of ace people feel "broken" before they learn about their sexuality, and saying things like this doesn't help.)
There are also grey-aces, who do experience sexual attraction, but rarely.
Whoops, My Bad, thank you for clarifying .

In Other News, I've been talking to Rah, Subeta's creative director, I've added a quote from oue correspondence, with permission of course, about what she thinks will be the future of Lgbt+ characters and NPCs on Subeta.

[-Song] No problem! There are a lot of labels, and it can get confusing. I've got nothing against it myself, but sometimes I can see why some people find the amount of labels ridiculous. >.<
Also...
Some people who experience sexual attraction can be repulsed by the idea of sex. Plenty of asexual people are fine with sex. Sex-repulsion isn't the same thing as not having sexual attraction, and it can vary from person to person. c:
For me, the idea of personally being involved in anything sexual is just... No, no, hell no! xD But I read yaoi, and am generally not bothered by sex scenes in media (unless they're especially graphic or disturbing for other reasons). Another person may be entirely repulsed by anything sexual, whether they're ace or not.
More on topic... ^^; That's awesome news from Rah! I'm looking forward to seeing where else Subeta takes the diversity of NPCs here. Well done representation is a great thing! <3
i hope im not being insensitive here, but based on the item description, what does Dara identify as? pan? straight (since Jogoh identifies as a woman)? something else?

Asexual people can have a libido. They can act on it or not and they can be repulsed by sex or not. They can masturbate or not as well. Still ace either way.
The asexual spectrum is beautiful and rarely brought up, which is sad.
More on topic. I love how Subeta is inclusive and it feels like people aren't left out and can identify to certain characters and NPC.
Also, Quentin is a "they/them" and I've always refered to this quest bud as such.
Dara Could could be any number of things, it's all based on self identification, he might identify as straight, seeing Jogoh as female rather than transgender. He could be Pansexual, Bisexual, Demi-Sexual. It really depends on how he views himself and how he views Jogoh.

[-Song] ahh thats true, i think one item description is a bit too little information to work off, so we can only guess! thank you for all the help - its really cool to learn something new c:
i really adore how Dara and Jogoh hit it off (especially since we know that Jogoh's father strongly opposed how Jogoh identified herself, a thing that happens a lot where i am with strong Asian culture) so i hope they expand more on that, teehee~ c;

So According to the Subetapedia, and this is only what is directly stated, not it what my be implied, but;
Emma & Esther are Girlfriends
Garret is openly Pansexual
Quentin uses They/them and "prefers not to disclose gender identity"
Liz and Neko are "Platonic Soulmates"
And According to the Subetapedia "It is also worth noting that Ian has a protective streak when it comes to Quentin, questions about their gender and other private matters and how those questions affect their feelings."
