I have already reported this as a ticket and was told by Cilan that I should make a post on the forums. I'm sorry if this isn't the correct area for it, but I never make forum posts.
I moved over about 12-14 full pages of items from my old shop and each page said it was sending anywhere between 246-390 items to my new shop. The new shops however, only seemed to "register" 100 unique items at a time and would only show 100/750 200/750 300/750 etc.. Currently, my new shops say 600/750 600/750 and 204/750 for a grand total 1404 items total according to the new system.
Even if we say 12 shop pages at only 200 items from my old shop, that's 2,400 items. But if we take an estimate of the items. 246 + 390 = 636 if we take 636 and divide by 2 that brings us to an average item count per page of 318. If we take the average item count of 318 and say that I only had 12 pages of items, it would be 318 x 12 = 3816 items.
So by averages, I should have around 3,816 items. The new shops say I have 1404. Using this math says I'm missing about 2,400 items. At this point, I can't even begin to imagine that this somehow happened because of duplicate items.
So if you could please help me either track down my missing items or explain to me how this new system is suppose to work, or anything, it would be very much appreciated.
Any input you might have would be most helpful.
i'm sure this is resolved by now, but the way it works is that one item gets moved over immediately, and the rest are queued and get processed later. so if you're moving a page of items, 100 items (one of each) will be put into the new shop immediately, and the rest go into a queue to get added over time.
if you're missing any after getting all of your queue events (you'll get one for each page/batch you send), file a ticket. :)
So you're saying that the way the old shops were set up is that they only allowed for 100 unique items to be displayed and that every single page from the old shop to the new shop would have been only 100 items at a time because of them being unique?
that sounds right, yeah
