So I'm trying to develop a default HA to fall back on whenever I'm not wearing something seasonal, and this is what I have so far. [Edit] version 2: I'm going for sort of a firey, elegant theme, with lots of gold, red, black, and shades of yellow and orange. The current item list is thusly: and and for the backdrop.

Basically, I like it a lot, but I'm not totally happy with it, and want to continue improving on it as much as possible. The only things on there that are 100% not up for debate are the Sunset Eyes Makeup Kit and Omen Islands Volcanic Tear, which are partially the base for the design. Currently I feel that it's a bit heavy on black at the top, and either needs more black at the bottom to balance it out, or a brighter head item, rather than the Festive Autumn Head Piece, or a different wig. (Though I do like that the Lock of Aphrodite kind of looks like smoke.) Keep in mind that I love love love the cluttered look, and as much as possible I want to keep the feel of being completely draped in fineries and jewelry.

So, you lot on the HA forums, whom I'm sure have much knowledge to which I am unprivy.. What do you think? What changes would you make to this design to improve it? I don't really have a budget, since this is sort of also supposed to be something to work towards during my time on the site, but no CWs please, I can't afford that stuff.

[Edit] Version 2. I changed the wig, since that was what most people seemed to mostly object to. The red balance is better now, but I think it still needs something gold-er on the topsies. Hmm. (And yeah, I fixed the nose, lol. Was a zombie for so long I kinda forgot I had one. >.>)

It will show up on your HA if you layer your nose layer over your base layer in the wardrobe. I like the colors, and I see what you were trying to do with the patterned overlay on top of the background, but it looks strange to me since the Hazy Morning Air is an outdoor scene.

Item suggestions:

Hi I think the hair covers up the eye make-up a little too much maybe. Anyways, I put together a mock-up in which I changed the hair and a few other things. I thought it might help get the ideas flowing. I hope you find a look you love. Outfit Not Found

While I do like the super firey hair, I feel like it pulls the design too far in the opposite direction, in that there's not enough black. :/ (Though the way that it lines up perfectly with the horns' chain is drool-worthy.) I wonder if there's something that's sort of a cross between those two. Hrm. I see what you mean about it covering up the eyes a bit much though.
