I just have had a revival of interest in Subeta and have been incredibly active over the past couple of weeks (versus my horrid attendance the past year) and as I was going through some things, I noticed I was missing one pastry for my pastry collection. So I decide, why no-- OH.

Considering the rest are below 100k, was the rarity on this one insane? (Perhaps this was the reason I gave up on my quest who knows how long ago).

Please... tell me your collection perils and we'll suffer together.

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that a lot of people were reminded of/just learned of the pastry collection (when they mentioned it in the news post about collection quick stock), and then everyone rushed to finish it - but hooooly crap! 😲

As far as I know it makes the rounds at a decent pace, so I'm not too worried - I've been able to focus on other collections-based achievements in the meantime LOL and put some much-needed funds into my battle set

that's good! and yurgh, battling... just got into that (and got my main pet to tier 2 so a long way to go) and now i regret because i've realized how quickly my sp is going to deplete once i get up there in the rankings.

I really neglected battling in my first 3 years on-site, and then last year it took a back seat to my (entirely spontaneous) desire to have over 1k achievements XD But now I'm putting more effort into it and I'm hoping to have a halfway decent thing going on by the end of the year... c':

I only focus on one pet right now, because I really want to have at least ONE good fighter that is my 'go to'. But yeah - after a while you find the prices go up exponentially, and your wallet cries - but think about the good SP that'll come in if you win nice prizes in the future 😜

Start opening and try your luck for one. I ended up finishing off that collection yesterday and couldn't get over the price of that single pastry. Went mad until I was able to get one of the Dot Dash Pastries after about 20-30 boxes... >.>

i've neglected it in the first six and i regret it! but yeah, definitely worth it in the long-run... but you seem to have far more perseverance than me! we'll see how long my battle desires last.

I've got a few friends pushing me to stay motivated, so that helps too!

Honestly, I find it helps to have a few things to focus on aside from training (monetary goals saved my butt) - that way you don't burn out from the frustration as fast!

Ah, yeah... |D I go through phases, myself. Sometimes I play every day for a few hours at a time, with tons of goals and whatnot

and then I randomly go on hiatus for like 2+ months overnight LOL

right now subeta is keeping me entertained while work is sloowwww but i'm sure once things pick up around here i'll end up forgetting! i hope that doesn't happen though, means i'll be super busy at work :p but i'm glad i'm not the only one in this situation.

One of my dilemmas with the collections was the value of some of the items I put in ages ago. I don't know if the option to see your account worth is around anymore, but you used to be able to see your 20-ish most expensive items. About 12 of mine were always beanbags and plushies and books that my pets had read. It was always so frustrating when you really needed the sP.
