COMBINING BUG CATCHING WITH A GARDEN REVAMP

From now on, seeds no longer all take 4 days to grow. Small seeds take a day, fruit minions seed take 2 days and bigger seeds like the Aeanoid take 4

Like, certain blooming seeds could have given odds of certain bugs coming to "pollinate" your flower, and you could catch it that way. It would also have been an amazing way of making the gardens relevant again, instead of the boresnore water-once-a-day thing they are. You want a certain bug? Planting more Red Hibiscus Seeds would have more chance of giving you that bug as well.

I mean, it would have gotten people into using the gardens again, making Seedlings a fun shop to restock at again (because who is growing non-Aeanoid/booster seeds, now)

Agreed that we need more incentives to use the gardens. Going to throw a few ideas too:

Bonus prizes awarded randomly when growing plants. Seeds that grow stuff like beanbags, plushies, stickers or books (I know, I know, but it's Subeta, anything can happen, right?). Hidden battle opponents. More tiers for Green Thumb. Achievements for growing certain plants, like the hibiscus or the magical seeds.

I would love some neat achievements like said. Also you're right, the gardens are a boresnore affair. I never remember to go back and water them and they could be SO COOL. Like why is there and entire shop dedicated to plants/seeds, if their use is so mundane and then you get an item and it gets thrown in your vault or in your shop. meh.

I love plants and I would love to see something done with this, because it has so much potential!

Are you in my mind?! I was telling someone this exact thing when the bugs had been released, but they way to get them wasn't. I think it would be neat if the bugs were like the Oofa fruit and every flower you grow had a chance at finding a random bug. It would be incentive since Gardens are oddly like the only place on site that doesn't have like a ridiculous amount of achievement tiers tied to them to keep the interest up.

I'm not sure if we really need achievements added. I wouldn't be against them, but like it gets exhausting some times, I think. However, with this new fondness over smaller, more specific collections I would love for each user to have a garden. It would only include plants that you grew yourself and possibly when you grow a plant it would give you the option "Would you like to Pick your flower or Leave it in your garden."

But all that aside, the main point is I think bugs being tied to gardening on the off season would be amazing.

This is perfect, a wonderful way to keep flowers on site, to make growing things relevant, and to add an awesome collection.

When I read the title I was thinking that each bug we caught could go hangout and sit in our gardens, but your idea ties more things together.

I'd really like to be able to grow multiple plants at once. It's always seemed weird to me that with all that dirt, there's only room for one seed at a time.

On the one hand, I think this is a very cool idea, since I also don't care about Bird Watching/Bug Catching beyond the single achievement for each.

On the other, I feel like it would get kind of confusing and labour-intensive and I'm both lazy and memory-impaired and probably wouldn't end up enjoying it very much, lmao.

I really like the idea of the gardens, so it would be nice to have more incentives to use them, yes. Could start with more achievements. Also, how come Green thumb doesn't even give you a forum title?? "x has a green thumb"

I support (almost) anything to spice up the gardens.

I'd love to have the ability to actually create a garden, as suggested, picking a plant or letting flourish!
