I don't have a ton of money, I do however quest and do things to make sp. I love to find bargains and get CWs from the Pawn Shop if I'm lucky. So when I sell my own CWs I'm usually in a pinch and will regret it later.

Recently I sold a wig that I had gotten out of the Pawn(a while ago) and was happy it sold so fast, only to see it being resold immediately for higher or Trade. This pisses me off, I know CWs aren't pets or something, but you want them to go to a good home, right? It happened a while ago and I'm basically still mad and won't be selling to the same person again. It just seemed like a really underhanded thing to do. /rant

When you bought it from the pawn shop and upped the price to resell it through forums/trades, didn't you essentially do the same thing?

Actually I sold it for 600csc, what I bought it for.

I think I agree with that. Granted, I'd probably turn them down, I'm not selling my items so someone can profit off of the fact that I don't charge more than I get them for. ; ~;

It just seems pretty shitty to immediately start selling them for a higher price. Especially since you were nice enough to sell for the pawn price.

Yeah, I think that's why it's still bothering me.

I can understand someone selling something for more if the buyer wanted to pay x amount because to them it was worth x amount, but to buy something and immediately sell it for more money is really shady. It really bothers me too when people slot on items just to turn around and resell them at higher prices. I can understand the demand of items going up on limited batch items and then selling something for more later on when you no longer use it. Seeing people sell things for more days after something comes out just rubs me the wrong way. That slot could have been given to someone that really wanted the item =/

ah this is why I tell everyone that I would trade it instead of selling. one of the wigs I recently sold was selling for 6K ;_;

I agree with , and what pisses me off more is when those new items are in the pawn...like wtf why do you even slot??! I don't understand :( Like I understand if it's been a while since it's been slotted.. But there are options! Stick it in the trade or create a selling board or put it in your shop and sell it for sp or hold onto and wait for a trade. OR look at the slot list and sell it to the next person or search on the wl! SO MANY OPTIONS, WHY PAWN?!?! I really dislike seeing cool cw in the pawn

One of my friend over offered on a BG. I knew the seller got it from the pawn and sold it to them for that overpriced amount..Like I think it's ok if it's slot price or a few 100 up...but selling it for a few K??? Iduuno, it doesn't feel right.

/ranting Sorry for exploding here ;; But yeah, I can totally understand the regrets when it's being sold for higher. Mm with trade, they might be looking for recolours or something similar? Sometime we impulse buy and try it in the wardobe, only to find out that it doesn't work with an outfit/other items

I slotted on a wig once that I super loved but then when I actually had it, I couldn't work with it at all. It was months before I finally decided to just sell it, but I went all the way back to the original thread and offered it at slot price to one of the people on the drop list. They were happy, I was happy and it all worked out.

I think I might consider trading in the future after this, but I don't usually have things that are rare or small batch.
