The best thing I can find is this, but it's a little more even-cut then I want. I don't want something ridiculous like this, but something short on the sides and spiked at the top would be great.

Hi I took a quick scroll through my wig drawer and found a couple things that might be similar to what you are looking for. Would or work? And I know you said you didn't want yellow but I also found these and Hope you find what you're looking for. :)

Somehow I always forget that the salon exists. The salon ones are okay. I tried Hazard on thinking it might be really close to what I was looking for, but it really doesn't look great on. It, Platinum Edition Silky Strands, and so many others have that weird thing going on where it's like the hair is pushed to one side rather then actually being spiked upward. It sort of seems like all too often, it's either that problem or a really bad hairline... A couple of the ones in the thread you linked are nice, but they're not quite what I'd wanted. Rushel Hair Coupon is probably the closest one out of them.

I'm legit starting to think that if I want anything better than one of these two then I'm just going to have to make my own CW, but I don't really have the money to spare. :/

Some of these are from sets, like the glow candies and the underground pomade, so there are several colours available. I wasn't sure what look you were going for, so I tried to include everything in the right vein. And of course there's no CWs, because, geez, I'm not made of money. T-T

Side note: Be as picky as you want! It's your avatar! I for one will not be the slightest bit offended if none of these are what you're looking for. :)

I actually have a few of these already haha. is awesome, it reminds me a lot of a guy who's basically my art teacher although he doesn't keep is hair like that anymore haha. Not what I was going for, though.

As for what I am going for, I basically want this, but with shaved sides, a somewhat boxy hairline (the hairlines of the guys I'd linked to in the first post would be great, but pretty much anything that isn't an oval or balding is fine), and maybe a little longer on top but that's not as important, just as long as it isn't crazy long. And preferably spiked upward, rather then pulled to one side.

So really similar to the original, but different enough to give it a different feel. Sort of the same style but different cut, more or less.

What's the definition of a fauxhawk as opposed to a mohawk?

-jaw drops at the sight of Tartare Punk Whip- Okay, not what I'm looking for, but I am definitely keeping that one in reserve. It's perfect for a cosplay, and just like what I plan on doing with my real life hair once it grows out (which is also partly for cosplay). Even the color is right.

Anyway, the difference between a mohawk and a fauxhawk is just that fauxhawks are comparatively really short. It's much more easily spiked that way, too. Legitimate, full mohawks with the crazy spiked up long hair are really high-maintenance, which is probably part of the reason keeping mohawks down like in many of those suggestions became a more popular thing haha.

Also, for the record, Dawn Rebel Locks is just a side cut because it's only shaved on one side. Those are not meant to be spiked. I'd had my hair like that at one point and really liked it.

I dunno if this is too long, and if the bangs are in the way, but there's some being sold in shops atm:

Proud Pigeon Hawks is actually pretty cool, just in general, but it's not what I'm looking for and I can't buy anything that's CSC. I'm not a fan of the bright orange and green, but Crested Pumpkin is definitely a variation of the style I'd intended that I would wear. I don't think that hair comes in any other colors though, unfortunately.

Hrm, no, it doesn't, it was a morostide item. This is harder than I thought it would be. :(

Yeah, that'd be why I asked this in the first place. D: I've tried to find something on my own for some time now, and it's not been the most fruitful of ventures. Errant Lazlo Scale and Lemon and Lime Fruit Bowls are both decent. I've digging Fallen Ikumoradeekanox Leaf a bit too, although it's also different from what I'd intended. All three of them are pretty pricey, 20 mil is the lowest. I don't know though, if there's not really anything else I might save up for the Lemon hair despite its yellow-ness. I really don't like yellow, but in this case it might be better then being stuck with bright orange and green.

I'm still looking, and I think I know what you're looking for more now, so my choices are getting better and better. :P

WHEW Okay well, I think that's every item on Subeta that comes close to matching your criteria and isn't a CW, so if you don't like any of those you may have to cave.

They really are! And I really appreciate that you're still trying. Oh damn. Oh those I like Smiling Durian Keychain, Special Order Tincture, and Spilled Seashell Crate which I realized are all from cash shop sets. Smiling Durian Keychain is alright, again if it weren't yellow I'd probably like it a lot more, Special Order Tincture is quite interesting and I might add that to my WL and try to find some oddball outfit to make with it, and Spilled Seashell Crate is definitely a keeper. So, I guess that one's it then! I wasn't really expecting to wind up with a yellow one in the end anyway, but at least it's fairly pale and mixed with other good colors.

Yeah, that little bit kinda sucks. But at least that last hairstyle doesn't use a striking yellow, so I can live with it pretty easily. You did! Heck, for even sticking around that long to try and help me, I feel like I owe you, and in the end you managed to find a hairstyle that was pretty much exactly what I'd wanted even if the colors were unexpected.
