So we have a new theory on how to beat the troll. Provided to us by the efforts and patience of and .
Theory
The suggestion is that we need to use TEAMWORK! Ajavi and Badblacksheep worked together through a weapons list until they found a weapon that defeated his defenses. They then battled together to get wins up to 4 - waiting for the other player before they took their 5th wins respectively within seconds of each other.
As we know the 5th win resets the weapon, so using this theory, follow the instructions on what to do if you find a weapon that works!
In a bid to make this easier, we need to assign people to certain weapons to test. Below are the 33 pages of T1 and T2 weapons on Subetalodge and a link to the page in question. Each page has 25 weapons.
If you would like to be assigned to a page or more to test please ping me and I'll put your name down. The slots can have more than one person testing. We can cover time zones and multiple testings that way.
Please note: The forum group is currently members only for people participating and helping in this thread. If you wish to be part of this group please claim a page from the Master Page list and ping one of the admins :)
What to do if you find a weapon that works!!
- Join our ping group # trolling (remove space) Join here!
- Beat the troll 5 times BUT don't press the See Results button on your fifth win
- Post the name of the item to the ping group forum - Winning Item and ping the group!
- Wait for as many people as we can to get into their fifth battle beating the troll without ANYBODY pressing the See Results button just yet!!
- Confirmation that we've included as many people as possible.
- Finally, press end battle and ALL get our fifth win! Woo.
UPDATE: New theory for everyone getting a 5th win in together - The battle doesn't end until you press the "See Results" button, so when you're fighting the Troll to get your 5th win you can beat him but not end the battle. That way the weapon won't reset but you'll have your victory assured, and more people will be able to do the same. Suggestion by
