I love movie quotes! For whatever reason they can provide: inspirational, funny, truth, insightful, meaningful, relatable, etc. etc.

So, just write down a movie quote (or more!) + who said it + movie title that touched you in anyway and explain what it means to you C: ! And also please be mindful of spoilers that might be in the quote/explanation!

Here's one of mine...

The quote touched me because it meant something so simple and so pure could be looked at a full-filled life.

It's not really remembered for any quotes, but I found The Machinist's dialogue intriguing. I like this exchange between two characters:

Ivan: Looks like rain. Radio says there's a storm comin' in. Trevor Reznik: Guess they're right. Ivan: If you ask me, it's already here.

The movie is so ominous. I love the weight of that last line. :3

Then there's Memento. You probably haven't heard of it unless you're into Christopher Nolan movies, buuuut it is apparently getting remade. I don't know why as the original was amazing. Anyway. So many good quotes from it. Some of my favs are:

We all lie to ourselves to be happy.

You don't want the truth. You make up your own truth.

If we can't make memories, we can't heal.

Just because there are things I don't remember doesn't make my actions meaningless. The world doesn't just disappear when you close your eyes, does it?
