Yes I'm watching Death Note! BUT!!! I haven't seen all of it yet. My favorite characters are L and Ryuk. L reminds me of my brother. I mean my brother never sleeps(or always has trouble sleeping), talks in a monotone, sits in weird positions and has big dark circles under his eyes too. Lol.

Death Note's a classic! I re-watched it with my parents earlier this year. After you finish watching it I recommend checking out Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases, a short prequel novel based on the series. It's pretty good and the main character is Naomi Misora when she was still an FBI agent.

I finished it a couple days ago. Now I'm in love with L. I heard theres a prequel movie about L too, Id rather watch that.

Ah Deathnote, that was big when I was still in high school. I didn't think people still watched it, it's kind of dated since it emerged when goth was quite popular.

The movie you're thinking of is "How L Changed The World" either that or "Beyond Birthday" either or if I remember correctly they were both live action (yuck!) They had books themselves, as in not manga, and I read those instead. They were pretty good and ever level of reader could easily finish them off in a day as they are not very thick. If they adapted those to anime then I must have missed it.

I don't watch things because their popular. I couldn't care less about trends. I love anime and I'm an adult. So sue me. I'm now watching school rumble and I love it! I find most new shows to suck compared to the older ones. Not all of them do, I love sword art online and it's quite new. But what I'm saying is I prefer to watch what I want when I want. Why should I let people who aren't me decide what's cool for me to watch at what time?

By the way the above rant was not really directed at you. Something you said just made me voice my opinion on trends. I wasn't trying to be rude especially not directly to you. And the live action anime movies always suck... XD
